SLAYER new album July 7

Columbia Records has confirmed a July 7th release date for the new album from Slayer. The band are currently in a Los Angeles, California studio putting the finishing touches to the follow-up to 2006's Christ Illusion which entered the Billboard 200 at #5 - the band's highest US chart position to date.

Oh boy, they are releasing another piece of shit. Seasons was the last awesome album they did. They have remained stale since then. Fucking boring shit now.

I'm going to wait to hear the new album to comment on it. If they follow convention, "Psychopathy Red" is going to be the simplest song on the album, and that's why they chose it as a single.

I have already heard two songs. Production is good, but really no inspiration, feeling, or anything new they have added to the mix. Slayer just cranks out albums to keep some cash flow coming. I imagine they have enough. They should just retire, or break up and start some new bands and free ideas.
