I found this on
deathmetal.org; everybody here should be reading it for just such gems (and they should have an RSS feed to make it easier).
The idea for this book came over through an off the cuff statement made in an email. Little did we know those few words would transform into a monster spanning 2 1/2 decades. All of the photos in this book come from the years 1984-1991 and none have been made available to the public at large - the majority of which have never been seen before. They stem from the combined private collections of both authors and the overwhelmingly generous contributions of several of the pioneering spirits whose recollections make the mortar with which this pictorial sentiment becomes the foundation. These two essential elements are what is used to build this photographic testament to our GLORIOUS TIMES. The book is brought to you by those who LIVED in the glory days, with heart felt recounts by those individuals whose efforts together CREATED what is known as extreme music today, and the photographic evidence to back it up.
Glorious Times MySpace (warning: a visual mess; hope they get a decent graphic artist for the book itself)
