Can't wait. Quite possibly my favorite Metal band.

On a side note, does anyone know what Alex Hernandez is up to these days?

That artwork is wonderful. Quite epic!
No.

Having reviewed the thread, baby Jesus is most definitely weeping at this point.

Anticipation is high for this. Immolation came back into focus with "Shadows in the Light" and it seems like signing with Nuclear Blast is really pushing them to do something especially strong. Can't wait!

Drum preview ^^^

Immolation seems to know no wrong. Glad I got my ticket for their show the 17th, hopefully they'll be playing their new material for everyone to gush over.

Nothing good concert wise ever comes to the city I am in now, I'm glad I'm getting out of this place soon.

I'll be looking forward to this, it feels good to be excited about a new album!!  It's been awhile.
In the olden days one could just smash an impudent peasant in the face with a walking-cane, but now you'll get arrested for assault if you do that.

New song up on the Immolation myspace.  The music is good; stylistically, the Behemoth/Nile influence is not appreciated.

I like it. Not sure I hear the Behemoth reference - definitely a little Nile though. Still, I think letting the riffs breathe a little is a bit refreshing as some of Vigna's more interesting work has just gotten buried in the din on past albums.

Not a fan of this track at all.

As was mentioned, it reminds me more of Cannibal Corpse/Behemoth than Immolation.

I'll take "Shadows in the Light" or "Hope and Horror" over this track any day.

I have just been listening to 'Shadows In The Light' today and if it that was meant to indicate a reversal of direction from 'Harnessing Ruin' (which I havent heard, though i'll take people's words for it) then I look forward to hearing this one.
