is Corrupt.org a sham?

This isn't correct. People had been quitting for a whole year before that, or more accurately, flaking out. Three of the bloggers moved over to Amerika, others remain alive and well (I hope) in their respective countries. In October 2010, the team formally ceased to publish frequent updates because our editor also withdrew. CORRUPT had a good run; in the end, it was too much of a group effort with massive overhead when what was needed was for a few dedicated people to keep writing, which is what they're doing at AMERIKA.

So it's officially dead?  That's too bad.  It'll be interesting to see how the site gets revamped, which I suspect is going to happen.

Keep in mind that CORRUPT had at least a half-dozen people flake out AFTER they'd gotten established writing, and ten times that number flake out on simple tasks they requested and then did not fulfill; ANUS has a similar number, including several admins.

That sucks.  I'll probably flake out some day, too.  At least, I suspect I will.  When that day comes, I'll make sure to give you the two weeks notice.

That brings me to the time prior to corrupt's flowering. Some of the promoting was presented to certain types of readers in the first place. The problem is a known one in authoring and publishing, to politics and to business generally: for success, content produced needs to have relevance to the audience, therefore producers need to intimately understand the consumer.

Very early on, the content was an appropriate fit for the targets of promotion, hence growth having taken place. Alright, that's enough revelation from me on this.

It wasn't a more practical sister-site to anus, dealing with everyday stuff and current events. It was a more "mature" take on the world that advocates that we do nothing and the world is fine the way it is. That's exactly what I read a couple of months ago and the word "mature" is in quotes because that's what another writer there used to describe the article.

^^^ This sounds so familiar. New people come in and decide to be more mature and gain social capital whilst at the same time becoming ineffectual. Why have a website that advocates do nothing? No one needs to be told that, that's what they'll do anyway.

This was pretty much exactly my experience with corrupt. A friend of mine even wrote a few articles for the site. Anyway, it quickly became apparent that we didn't like the direction the site was headed in. I wasn't even aware the place was still around.

Corrupt never advocated "doing nothing". The idea behind the site was to try to get so-called nihilist ideals out to a larger, less alienated audience.

Unsurprisingly, this made the autistics from ANUS freak out. But they eventually retreated back to their hugboxes and Corrupt was a pretty good site for a while.

I think the real problem was that the core staff of editors/writers were a bunch of alienated weirdos themselves, and didn't know how to craft an appealing propaganda message. Frank Azzurro was one of the only exceptions. Once it became obvious that the site would never be popular on a large scale, everyone kind of drifted away.

The larger "less alienated" audience usually cannot understand, or is not willing to, or will misunderstand the message. And they need it watered down.

Don't confuse alienated with dysfunctional. One can be alienated in his mind but living like a human being, socializing etc. I think I belong in this category, I live my life as a normal person with friends, family etc, but I KNOW I have to lie to appear "normal" or "hip" or whatever is needed to be sociable. For example did Adolf Hitler need to tell the whole truth to the broad (including non alienated) masses when he was trying to gain power?

Anyway, all I said is quite useless because the single most hard fact that (IMO)made  corrupt.org trash is that it was living with contradictions, eg. that of the spirit of a nihlist vs that happy-flower-easter-church shit. And what's all that fucking shit with christianity? Since we know that in it's core it is a loser mindset, there are exceptions but in persons not in ideological sects. It is not my fault that 99,999% of the europeans that are going to visit corrupt.org will be christians and so corrupt.org doesn't have the guts to speak of superior pagan spiritualism. It is their faults or their genetics' fault that they believe the god of the Jews.

And if someone is going to stand up and tell me that corrupt.org is trying to persuade the masses slowly to gradually turn to more nihilistic values its ok. But let us see it for what it is, simply propaganda (positive but still propaganda) for people more fearful (spiritually) and with lesser clarity than us. It is not genuine passing of knowledge from father to son, like anus.

Even if there were derogatory comments, that means those people still came back for the site, even if they said it was bad.

And we too liked to read it.

I think if the site should go on it should focus on pratical thing like everyday "spirituality" practices, like breathing exercies, recommendations of books and book reviews, comments about world events, and philosophical texts in the style of anus. It could also throw in some interesting stuff like texts about weird stuff, people like that.

It succeeded, to a degree. It's hard to keep writers on topic and eventually, too much administrative burden fell on Alex Birch.

The already alienated community, while some may be functional, is MOSTLY dysfunctional, especially those in any way connected to racialism. They are at the very least hopeless of change and unwilling to stir themselves to do much about it. Their goal seems to be first to emote, and only distantly second to help fix any of their supposed sources of angst.

CORRUPT did a good job; AMERIKA does a better one at this point.

With regards to flaking out, mentioned earlier: my impression of ANUS//CORRUPT folk is that the yearly influx of regular contributors come to these sites looking for a sort of personal direction, later finding it in something apolitical, long-term, and independent of internet community and activism - Traditionalism, Philosophy, Art, Health/Athletics, or whatever. The rest seem to pop on the forums for the variety and depth of content that occasionally finds its way here. For sure, there seem to be "politicals" past their mid-20s that never encountered a crisis of purpose who enjoy petty things like argument and personal attacks as a way to kill time, but it's doubtful the "activism" of these individuals amounts to anything of substance.
