Sodomy is gay, true. But if you've just beaten some dude in a fight, feeling his muscles strain against yours and you win out, it's not gay to anally rape him afterwards. It's just a ceremony of victory. Anyone who disagrees is obviously a latent.

I find it easier (and less troubling, morally) to just pretend like I can't win the fight in the first place.  A little struggle for show, but that's it.
