I adjusted the brightness/contrast in order to get the background truly black and removed some spots manually. For the sake of symmetry, I removed the text as well. Set this as wallpaper as centered
and set the desktop background color to black - this way, it looks very elegant at least on my 1280x1024 screen.
I'd love to use coverpics of quality metal albums like this as my wallpapers, but even the best repository for images like this, Truemetal's wallpapers
is pretty damn dated - the maximum width of the images is 1024px and the most recent submissions are from 2001. A new scan archive with width of 2048px should be made(screens wider than that are still pretty rare).Source image #1Source image #2

Made this through messing with alpha channel. Unfortunately, I couldn't make any bigger(good quality) version. The black space below is of the width of the taskbar.
