Maybe not:

Indeed, there is no historical evidence of the device existing in the Middle Ages at all, and it appears to be the result of modern imagination.

Busy historical trolls at work!

What kind of "medieval torture devices" can we invent? War metal doesn't count.

LOL MODERNITY AND EVERYONE BUT ME IS DUMB LOLOLOL LOL CROWD SLAVES

Why smart people act like this?

But well, I "agree" that modernism is very often thrown here as a synonym of sickness. Metal = Good Metal, Modern Metal = Bad Metal. It happens a lot.

I won't unnecessarily expand the concept of modernism, we all know what it is. But it is imprecise in the practice and in the critic of a lot what is wrote here: it seems that modern though is just democratic though happening after 1600's, and French rationalism. Is modernism just that?

This is to say, what elements of modernism are contemplated for a futuristic traditionalism? Some clear demarcations between science, State and Religion have become necessary, even, I would dare to include Law, which are all traits of modernism.
