Anybody has the original "Molested - Blod-draum"? 320kbps.

DON'T get the remaster. Seriously. Probably the worst remaster I've ever listened to. Why do they have to ruin so much stuff this way?

I had the same problem when checking out this album. The remaster was so bad I had to delete it. But as an alternative you can use a Youtube to MP3 converter and download the one on Youtube. It'll be one MP3 file for the whole album and it's at 192kbps but it's a lot better than hearing that awful remaster.

Metal / Nunslaughter - Angelic Dread
« on: May 24, 2014, 05:57:48 PM »
New album from "devil metal" band Nunslaughter has leaked: http://www59.zippyshare.com/v/25827052/file.html.

I haven't listened to it. In fact, I've only heard the demo compilation by this band but I thought it was cool and was looking forward to checking out their full-lengths. Their "Goat" album was reviewed in an old SMR article but it's actually a positive review.

Anyway, just posting this in case any of the writers want to pick it up for a review.

Metal / Heresiarch - Wælwulf EP
« on: April 05, 2014, 02:40:30 PM »
Just checked to see if it was on Youtube and someone has uploaded the full EP today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWgOsn7lMMg.

Less speed and more atmosphere on this one. Bleak as hell.

Avzhia - The Key of Throne

Am I the only one who thought In My Domains was a more profound album? It has a more mysterious feel to it and I find it to be a deeper experience than the previous album.

Also with the last two Avzhia albums I find that both of them have one track in particular that stands out a lot stronger than the rest. Anyone else get that?

Godless Arrogance full album on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EYIshmi45gk.

It's been up for a week so I don't think the band/label mind. Spread it round (faceplant etc.) if you like.

This is definitely another brilliant Profanatica album. It might even be their best. The constant changing riffs and melody make it a really intense and interesting listen throughout. But I also find that it builds up to the last 3 tracks where things get really epic. In particular the ending riffs on the title track and "Water to Blood" are outstanding. As the melody develops, the atmosphere intensifies and each note has a really "crucial" sound that has me on the edge of my seat.

I think Audiofile should live,

Yes, I would appreciate if the Audiofile part is kept whatever the overall decision is as it serves its function and I'm sure more people will take advantage of it as the site grows.

Not sure if that Dawn album is holding up now. Some of it does seem way too repetitive. But I really enjoy the epic feeling of the last track. I think it's good for an occasional listen.

Don't miss out on the second Sacramentum album Coming of Chaos. This is another album that you can keep coming back to for years without it getting boring. It's a bit of a different style to the first album with more death metal and speed metal thrown in the mix but that was probably a good idea when you've already hit gold with your debut. Another A class album.
