Some low life can write the most passionate piece about being rejected by a women whom he is in love with. Instead of critiquing the product, why do we not assault the underlying purpose for the piece instead? Call a spade a spade. A loser is a loser by any right. We choose to listen to the music of the conquer, let us act as such.

Back in the day, Pantera were the conquerers

I see money as a way to escape the burden of society and money itself. Beware this path though, for there are many traps.

There is a lot of truth in this. As you build up your own safety net, the necessary orientation of life around earning it may recede except for those who do so by choice, which is a trap. After padding yourself with a stash, if you aren't a jobaholic, you can then make room for other things in life. It is a better place to be than just living to work to avoid being penniless on a given day. If you can also find a way to work less, that's icing on the cake.

At best you'll get places to exchange information on metal releases, future and past concerts and personal opinions on albums. At worst you know what you'll get. I personally like gear talk and discussion of recording techniques from days long gone but I haven't fucked around with any boards in a long time. If you want something from an Anus point of view made by some younger outsiders, boy that board would fucking suck. I think the main point of this one is to get off the computer and go do something, be a CEO and shake shit up,however  I doubt those types of people give a shit about Morbid Tales.

I don't have a problem with the DLA blog other than the comments. They should be disabled or moderated. I don't know who the fuck would want that job, so just disable them. I've no idea what you have in mind for the future of the site but I'm guessing it has something to do with distancing itself from metal and the DLA?

Post-Indie: Atomizer

Hardcore: Fear, Death (70s Detroit band, I do wonder how the Bad Brains got this material to copy it, or maybe its something else)

Heavy: Manilla Road (give Crystal Logic a listen already)

Speed: Sabbat (from Japan,  they're just as good and even a bit better than Mercyful Fate, Satanasword is their finest moment, a classic!)

Good punk like Fear is about beating down liberals and drinking beer. The stupidity is so overblown it brings a massive grin to my face everytime, then bands like Flipper, Fang, GG Allen, all supremely negative in the most ridiculous manner possible. There is good punk and it's not all hippy shit, it's good cartoonish entertainment.

Metal / Re: How do you compose?
« on: August 07, 2011, 09:09:16 PM »
Just start playing guitar until you come up with something that resonates with whatever stupid shit is going through your head then throw in a fuckton of more riffs and hope some idiot that listens to metal thinks they all flow within context of one another and be sure the last riff is completely different from the first so it creates the illusion of a conclusion.

I wouldn't waste my time giving a fuck if someone might like metal or not. It sounds like some creepy fantasy waiting to see revelation in someones eyes, sounds like the pinings of a lonely miserable fuck.

What about deja vu? When the feeling comes to me it usually starts off with an inner visual from a dream (like thinking of tweety bird) followed by living out the moment from the dream. I use to have it so much I would start practicing spazzing out during the middle of it to "change the future". Weird shit. A friend told me its probably just synapse misfires, or your brain fucking up by reading the present as past, I have don't know how the brain works very well sorry. It's probably the sign of a malformed insane brain. I do know one time when I was a kid me and my mom were in my sisters room looking for a movie, my mom found the VHS box and I remember picking it up earlier finding a different movie inside, my mom then said "it is too in here". Lots of small instances like that make me wonder but the shit never happens anymore.

One last thing I know this crazy girl that is trying to kill my friend with Bulgarian voodoo who I might suspect has the same brain defects as I. One time she was trying to read my mind or transmit thoughts as we had this insanely intense stare down one day, here eyes seemed to be disembodied from her head and formed a dark sucking type of void. She's been leaving tied up Blair Witch bird bones on my friends door step, I hope she goes to the nuthouse.

Interzone / Re: Thinking about death.
« on: April 17, 2011, 08:01:29 AM »
I had the same problem maybe 5 or 6 years ago, if you keep living you will eventually stop obessessing about death. I'm way more concerned about how I'm living my life than how its going to end and only think about death during close calls like when some asshole almost hits me with their car or I see a tornado heading my way. Avoid death best you can until it happens.

ijf you can't afford both none of the sacred Anus teachings apply to you, only sacrificial suicide taking out Watain with a bomb strapped to your chest will grant you a dismissive nod from Anusian lords. MDF was good last year, this years lineup not so good. Last year was Sadistic Intent, Asphyx, Autopsy, The Chasm, that alone was awesome enough, dunno about this year, if I go I'm gonna beat the shit out of some trainhopping crusty scum, if there is an Anus grouping which I doubt will happen (I'd love to mean Prozak in person) there should be some bum beating involved

I'm all for it, I got a place deep in the woods only a stray warhead would find by total accident. I'm doing ok I guess but I'd rather see shit crumble and explode in my lifetime than slowly crawl towards death in a comfy bed.
