Chasm / Ideas endorsed by ANUS in academia
« on: May 24, 2012, 08:40:59 PM »
As a step towards world domination through the endorsement of ANUSian ideas I think that we should recognize people in academia in some way or another affiliated with the ideas endorsed by ANUS. For instance, I know there has been some recent attention to the academic study of metal music by members here.
The only two that springs to mind right now are J. Philippe Rushton and Richard Lynn (both professors of psychology; the latter retired).
EDIT:
Metal academics
Academic recognition of metal possible

Chasm / Re: Why do we fight for what we fight for?
« on: December 10, 2011, 04:23:17 PM »1. Beauty = right = once we've seen it as an option, it makes no sense to turn it down
2. It's fun
This synthesis is what does it for me. To strive for what could be, while in a nietzschean way (Kaczynski applies here aswell) enjoying life to the fullest. The power process provides us with a goal aswell as a sense of purpose.

Chasm / The Challenge
« on: October 22, 2010, 11:44:31 AM »
I always knit my shoes standing on one leg and brush my teeth with the 'wrong' hand.
What else could be done to crush the conformity and bring some challenge into our lifes?

Don't be so hard on them.![]()
Why shouldn't you be? Don't accept anything but the best.
Fuck Destruction too.
Kreator is all you need.
Sentence of Death and Infernal Overkill are mandatory in my book. I've been neglecting Kreator so far, any recommendations?

Some favourites not previously mentioned:
Gorgoroth Antichrist

Celtic Frost To Mega Therion
Darkthrone Transilvanian Hunger
Enslaved Vikingligr Veldi
Graveland The Celtic Winter
Summoning Dol Guldur

Metal / Re: Burzum
« on: October 01, 2010, 05:26:49 PM »P.S. If you listen to Burzum, please try classical music. Especially: Chopin and Tchaikovsky.
Quote from: Varg Vikernes link=http://www.burzum.com/eng/library/2010_interview_guitar_world.shtml date=1285906597
My biggest influence in music, metal included, is the music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, especially "Swan Lake" and "The Nutcracker", and other classical music.

Commerce / Hessians in Umeε?
« on: August 31, 2010, 11:59:37 AM »
I've recently begun my studies at the university of Umeε and I'm wondering if there's any like-minded fools up here? Don't hesitate to drop a PM if you're interested in moaning over the election hysteria or just grabbing a cup of coffee.
