Metal / Sepulchral Productions: New Gris and Sombres Forêts, July 9
« on: June 21, 2013, 09:23:03 AM »
We are taking preorders as of now on the following two albums, that will launched on July 9th, 2013.

Preorders will be shipped in the week prior to the release!!

SP034 : Gris «  À l’âme enflammée, l’äme constellée… » DCD
Sample : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLUlZCqIgl4

5 years and a half after the unforgettable Il Était Une Forêt, and after the Miserere Luminis project, Icare and Neptune resume their trip with their third album, once again a masterpiece. Featuring two symmetric parts for a total of 80 minutes, À l’âme enflammée, l’äme constellée… sees the band integrate more of the classical and acoustic parts displayed by the last track of their second album to its melancholic Black Metal. A painfully beautiful album.
Available in regular DCD version or in a Double Digipack, 6 pannel version limited to 500 copies and only available through Sepulchral Productions

SP035 : Sombres Forêts « La Mort du Soleil » CD
Sample : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Te24up_gZaU

Sombres Forêts is back with its third album, who sees the band take on a more atmospheric and introspective approach. By incorporating some Miserere Luminis ADN into his solo project, Annatar offers an album that is rich in atmosphere and textures, where dissonant and droning guitars go side-to-side with the acoustic parts and tortured vocals that have become the group’s trademarks over the years. A journey to dark and stormy lands!

For those of the Montréal area, tickets are now available in Freeson, Labyrinthe and Profusion in Montréal, and will be at the Pentagram in Québec early next week.

Even though Messe des Morts II was a great sucess, many (including us!!) were disappointed by the fact that Mgla was prevented to enter Canada because of technical issues. We promised a make-up show, so there you go!
While we were at it, we figured we might as well contact the other two international acts that could not make it this past November for different reasons. Darkspace was unfortunately unable to attend, but Nargaroth accepted to come for this show, in what will be a first in 6 years in Québec/Canada for them, as well as an exclusive North-American performance!

Forteresse will also be back on stage for the first time since their European tour, as we had announced in December, and two other bands (who should be confirmed shortly) will start the evening.
So we'll see you on March 9th at the Théâtre Plaza, for another night of Unholy Black Metal!
The Lineup :
- Nargaroth (Germany, Exclusive North American Show!!)
 - Mgla (Poland, For the first time in North America!!)
 - Forteresse (Québec)

We're proud to announce the following two releases on June 12th:

- SP027 : Borgne "Royaume des Ombres" CD
Samples : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=le1t1GAcgac&feature=relmfu

Borgne strikes back with a vengeance on what is undoubtedly its most accomplished work to date, the furious and uncanny album called Royaume des Ombres. Moving forward in the darker and more complex direction hinted at in Entraves de l'Âme while retaining the mechanical hatred and blistering speed fans of the band have come to expect, Borgne will pummel listeners with nearly 60 minutes of brutal, creepy and suffocating songs, while adding a more epic twist in certain passages.

- SP028 : Brume d'Automne "Brume d'Automne" CD
Samples : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNtzwse6Ix0

Seven years after their debut album, one of the forerunners of the "Métal Noir Québécois" movement is back at last! Athros (Forteresse/Ur Falc'h) and Nordet (Ur Falc'h) return with a self-titled album on June 12th (Sepulchral Productions) that is both harsher and more epic than Fiers et Victorieux, while keeping that firmly Québécois side which has gained the band many fans since 2005. With a bit less emphasis on folkloric passages, and with a rawer, more furious approach, on the new release Brume d'Automne takes a stab at classic Black Metal, while incorporating its very own, distinctive twist in what is yet again an album that those following Québec's Black Metal scene will not want to miss!

To celebrate these new releases, we have the following promotion, valid until June 24th, Midnight (Québec hour):

Buy one of these at the regular price of $13 (North America) or 13 Euros (World), or get one of the following packages:

- Buy both CDs for 22$/Euros
- Buy both CDs plus any other Sepulchral Productions title for 30$/Euros!!!

More details at http://www.sepulchralproductions.com

Metal / Re: Borgne, Forteresse, N&N: New Sepulchral Productions releases
« on: November 09, 2010, 12:42:40 PM »
The official release is today! You still have until midnight (Montréal hour) to get these on presale, after that the CDs will be marked to their regular price.

A few early reviews of the albums :

Borgne :

"Borgne brainchild Bornyhake knows how to handle his guitar, riffing out some great, creepy fuzz atop the blurred drums and hateful vokills. Bravo, Borgne: you've succeeded in winning over yet another convert to your cause!"  - Zero Tolerance

“From the lush acoustic to pure nightmarish blackened pain. Burzum, Mayhem and Older Darkthrone fans with love this as it holds just into those Ideals as well. Bombastic…” – Absolute Zero Media

“Black symphonic, grandiose and epic…dark, sinister, tragic.” – Flight of Pegasus

Forteresse :

“This is full of hope and sorrow, loss and grief and epic in the undertaking that it is trying to present. Simply just blown away by this release.” – Absolute Zero Media

“The tunes here are immense. The sound is dense: melodies are keyboard-led, the guitars thicken the texture and add to the monumental weight of the music, and the vocals are a parched roar – beautiful.” – Zero Tolerance Magazine

“I don't think I've heard something quite this self assured and spacious all year. Par Hauts Bois et Vastes Plaines plays out like a solitary excursion across the Canadian north.” – From the Dust Returned

Neige et Noirceur :

“Neige et Noirceur's La Seigneurie des Loups is the first in 25 or so albums that I can't stop listening to! Music is art, and this album proves it.” 9.5/10 – Sara Heitman (Blistering.com)

“Neige Et Noirceur play a very woods-and-snow nature-mystical brand of post-Burzum black metal, which is strangely easy on the ear despite the rasping aggression.” – Zero Tolerance Magazine

“Anyone who is a fan of Québécois BM would be insane not to pick this piece up. Neige & Noirceur are really coming into their own with each new release, and are solidifying a place among the elite acts in the genre. This is essential.” – The Werkshed
