Metal / Re: Extreme metal: An evolution?

extreme metal is simply more complex a medium.

it's the difference between an elementary school book and a high school novel. the former is simpler in language and structure, while the latter is more technical in both areas and is usually expressing a more detailed meaning.

i'd love to hear something similar to nightshade forests in aesthetic, and the song-structure off oath bound, in their next release.

a few instrumentals would be nice as well.

facebook is a social-networking site.

you're supposed to express yourself and your interests with others. some people like to express how retarded and goofy they are.

it's all a part of being on facebook.

"The Ecological Footprint, one of the indicators used in the report, shows that our demand on natural resources has doubled since 1966 and we’re using the equivalent of 1.5 planets to support our activities."

1.5 planets? that's fucking insane.

northern european countries are simply better at organization and living within their means. from an outsider's perspective, it just seems like the southern europeans are spoiled children who have no sense of money, while the northern europeans are the parents who are trying to keep their kids in-check.

The same thing is going on within the United States between its diverse population groups.

that's a good point.

though it would be a lot harder to remove these people since they are spread throughout the country.

this is what happens when you try to create a rival to the united states, and force differing countries together under one umbrella.

germans are much different to spaniards, like the italians are different to the dutch, and the portuguese are different to the poles, etc, etc. it's not even about politics as much as it is about culture.

northern european countries are simply better at organization and living within their means. from an outsider's perspective, it just seems like the southern europeans are spoiled children who have no sense of money, while the northern europeans are the parents who are trying to keep their kids in-check.

europeans need to break up the e.u. or they need to remove the, "trouble' countries.

it just seems that bands run out of ideas.

bands throw all their great ideas into the first few albums, then have nothing else to offer for future albums.

at that point...it makes more sense to end the project. use other ideas you may have, on a completely different genre/band, instead of trying to change the band's original direction...which happens all too often.

Altars >>>>>> Blessed

i think that those albums are too distinct, and with different goals, that they can't really be compared...maybe only in a stylistic comparison.

I'm old...I still miss the days when we strictly complained about Posers, False-Metal and the like.

hahaha...so true.

Fewer people, which means an increase in quality.

i agree with this.

though i have to assume that you're trolling big-time with this, "send the under 120-iq's to africa" suggestion. if you're not trolling, then i'll just say that it's never going to happen. accept reality, and work within it.

encouraging the demolition of all religions, respecting other cultures (aside from the religious dogma), empowering women, and electing honest leaders will take you A LONG WAY...

This is why colleges unofficially limit Asian attendance as much as possible, or you end up with a campus full of 118-IQ Asian studylords who are unable to make decisions outside the box.

another good point.

possibly genetic in origin.

They're genetically not emotive? Possible.
I don't know, though, comparing them to other races, it seems that black people have very high emotions and low IQ. they are passionate, but not logical. White people have a balance,so they are able to use their high IQ and their emotional intelligence. Asians are extremely intelligent but dull. It may be that their high IQ tells them that the best method of going through life(survival speaking) is to not disobey, follow conventions, so they never get passionate and behave like robots.

this is something that i've always considered.

and when i compare this theory to reality...it's usually accurate.

though i think we should take environment into account. there are always going to be exceptions to rules.

« on: April 17, 2012, 03:40:47 PM »
those albums were made by people who were 100% focused on creating amazing and emotional art.

it's too bad that these same people generally lose that focus, and start to focus on other things (money, popularity)...things which absolutely destroy art.

Emo youngsters need serious growing up / reality orientation, but brutal killing?

The people who are attracted to emo never had souls anyway.

Send the bodies back, see if you can reincarnate someone useful instead.

Everything about emo reeks of self-pity, self-drama and other prole emotions.

If we killed them all, what would we lose?

Exactly. We're not losing future Beethovens here. We're losing future metrosexual barristas.

wow...i really can't tell if this is a serious post, or sarcasm.

or maybe i'm getting too old for this type of humor.

Metal / Re: America should have avoided making black metal
« on: February 21, 2011, 05:13:29 PM »
Let's follow your logic then. Isn't it more compelling to state that Jesus Christ and his distant Pope influenced Norwegian black metal?

obviously....all things are connected, in SOME sort of way.

but i think the difference is that jesus christ has had an influence, on not only black metal...but on death metal, along with MANY other subjects in this world.

so why you say that jesus christ's influence is somehow specific to black metal, which seems to be what you're implying, is kind of stupid, i'm sorry to say.

so that's why i think it makes more sense to focus on an early black metal band when it comes to it's influence on black metal...instead of using something as generic as an entire religion.
