Samhain was great because it was a transition between Danzig's Punk and Blues Metal days. It's a really unique sound they have.

What non-whites lived in Europe during the Viking age?

Vikings ofcourse encountered many different cultures in their travels (Middle East, Vinland (natives), Iceland (with natives), Russia (with natives, forming Russia from the "Russ" Swedes), North Africa inhabited with Muslims). It is known that Muslim tribes had also explored, hitting southern parts of Europe. Ofcourse there were invasions and battles, but none of it was racially motivated, they just wanted their goods. Also, they didn't always raid, they did a LOT of bartering with the western end of the Middle East (Jerusalem being a big one) towards the end of the Viking era. Hmmm, sounds like they would of been "race traitors" to me...

I like the music of Burzum, but can't say anything about Varg, or anyone that links Nationalsozialistische/White Supremacy with Heathenism. I don't remember reading in my long hours of study of the Viking Age, about the hatred or extermination of non-Whites. Fuck tards..

Wagner and Chopin are rock?

re-reading what he wrote, I think he misunderstood what I was saying... and apparently he doesn't understand that there was no Rock music before Blues lol... I meant music that is pre-blues/rock 4/4 scale....

So you're saying that... say Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exibition", Wagner's "Ring Cycle", one of Chopin's preludes, or I'll go far back as Handel's Messiah works, as not being as an intelligent piece of musical work as primitive BM bands? ? ?

Rock and pre-blues riffs are actually rather primitive, even in comparison to minimalist black metal acts like Von.

Do you also like wearing girl clothes?

I know, some people just can't handle and understand intelligent pre-blues/rock riff music, it's ok....

Well I wasn't really trying to differentiate Lith from any other Baltic bands, just a lot that I listen to comes from there. I know they're Latvian, Obtest (my favorite of the bunch) is Lithuanian. All good stuff though...

there's some pretty solid stuff out there, Skyforger certainly demanding a listen of anyone into folk metal...though most of it isn't certainly original there is stuff worth a listen for anyone into the style. Also I don't see why you'd differentiate lithuania from the rest of the east european countries when it comes to this kind of music - they all sound essentially the same. Skyforger is Latvian, by the way...

Does anyone listen to any Lithuanian or other Baltic Black Metal bands like Obtest, Skyforger, Urskumug, Loits (although I don't agree with Loits totalitarian politics) etc.?

and Vinteriket is Dark Ambient, not Black Metal...

Speaking of which, I have found it interesting that so many Black Metal musicians have taken an interest in putting out Dark Ambient releases, as it was originally mainly an Industrial/Darkwave-Goth crowd. Maybe it was the Mortiis influence.

Older 1349 is ok, saw the new video, and it seems that they went from a Darkthrone influence to a Marduk influence. Not groundbreaking, but I think they're a decent listen...

Metal / Re: Are Nile any good?

I have seen Nile many times, I think they put on a pretty decent set, though they downplay the Egyptian atmosphere live. I like their albums a lot better.
