Interzone / So-called Positive and Negative Music

Proponents of "positive" music
I simply love how they bash heavy metal for being "negative" music, when the only thing they really know is garbage like Nine Inch Nails and Nirvana.
Maybe the ANUS ought to shut these yuppies up?

Metal / Personality of Hessians
« on: April 02, 2008, 04:10:13 PM »
I've been rather interested in different personalities in people, specifically Jungian typoogy, Myers-Briggs typology, and the Keirsey temperament sorter. I wonder, if Hessianism were to get anywhere, how these personalities will mingle and create a stronger hessian culture. Some thoughts and criticism concerning the psychology of hessians, Jungian psychology, and the future of hessians psychologically would be greatly appreciated.
If you can, take this test and discuss your personality if you want.
I myself scored as an Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging (INTJ) personality. About the same personality as Nietzsche and John Nash.

Metal / Vocals
« on: November 20, 2007, 01:58:40 PM »
Yes I'm very aware of the Musician's thread but I think this issue requires special attention. I feel that since vocals in Death Metal and Black Metal are growled and screamed, it seems to lose any sense of authenticity. That's why there are teachers who give vocal lessons to become better sounding vocalists in the Metal realm. The bands, however, taking lessons are of poor quality but to fellow Hessian Intellectuals, what is the Hessian view regarding Vocals?

Metal / Water exposed to Metal
« on: November 01, 2007, 12:45:23 PM »

It seems like it's dissolving, doesn't it?
After hearing about Masura Emoto's work with water molecules, it got me thinking about Metal and its effects on nature, the mind, and reality in general. I do not know for sure what they played (probably some really loud shitty rock music) but what if someone were to try the sounds of Morbid Angel, Burzum, etc. and see how different bands affect the molecules. Some interesting results would surely arise.
