Metal / Re: Introducing intelligent people to intelligent metal

I think that most non-metal listeners are some sort of musical snobs when it comes to listening to metal. They consider metal to be loud and stupid which isn't the case. With regards to introducing someone to metal I'd probably go in for a Speed-Thrash-Black metal combo with bands like Metallica, Slayer, Darkthrone, Immortal to name some.

I don't have any season specific metal preferences but I listen to whatever metal that I can download from the Internet. :)

I wonder if ANUS Metal can have a Speed/Thrash metal band like Slayer, why not Megadeth?

Interzone / Unemployment
« on: August 02, 2011, 08:55:59 AM »
At a time when the world is slowly but steadily overcoming the aftershocks of The Great Depression-Part II (2008-2010), we find that there are still countries that have taken bailouts and grappling with many problems, one of them being unemployment. Unemployment is a global phenomenon and tough to tackle. Are there unemployed people here like me who are facing it everyday and hoping for a better life? :(

Interzone / Left Wing OR Right Wing?

It would be interesting to know the political leanings of people at a nihilist organisation like ANUS. I've deliberately kept "Centrist" out, as I believe that Centre takes only the good from both the Left and Right. As for my political leanings my sympathies are with both the Left and the Right on certain issues. Come share your political leanings! :)

The Storetvelt church was burnt once by Varg Vikerness and the second time by Faust? Both these church burnings happened on May 23?!

Good riddance, OBLs death has brought to an end Pakistan's policy of sheltering jihadis and supporting the so-called global war on terror!

Interzone / Re: Wikipedia deletes ANUS, again

They want drama about the site itself.

So... if you run a blog, or a zine, or work for one... do an article on ANUS.

Of course, we have traditionally not sought publicity FOR the organization as much as for the topics and people we cover, so this hipster world of self-promotion is baffling to me.
You could quote vijay prozak's interview to The Right Hand Path, if you want to.

To keep going and never ever give up on my principles and views even if the entire universe is against me  2. To express my anger and rage instead of suppressing it. 3. To level all those who mess without reason with me

Metal / Re: Indian classical music
« on: February 05, 2010, 07:16:01 AM »
Despite being an Indian I don't care a damn about Indian classical music, I once heard just a seconds worth of ravi shankar's music. Given my temparement and view of life and having hardly listened to it, any given day a composer like wagner, beethoven, tchaikovksy would be preferred by me if I had to make a choice between listening to Indian and Western classical music. One may try looking for Shubha Mudgal's Underscore Records, ITC Sangeet Kala Academy, Kolkata, India Today/Living Media group's label Music Today, Late M.S.Subhalakshmi. Shubha is an Indian classical singer and so was Late M.S.Subhalakshmi
