Metal / Re: Newer Graveland

I have always been a huge fan of Gravelands early material, especially the  "in the glare of burning churches" compilation album , as well as "thousand Swords" and "The Celtic Winter" needless to say they follow all the standard guidlines in creating a Black Metal album in the vein of Bathory, and all early 2nd wave bands, especially norwegian ones. BUT their later work the musicianship is a lot more credible, Rob Darken is underrated I think, and He is a brillian artist, their later albums might not give the full effect and Setting as the early stuff, it still shows that the music is constantly breaking new grounds.
FAVORITE NEWER ALBUM Is definatly FIRE CHARIOT OF DESTRUCTION Basically because its theme is awesome , and the music makes it seem realistic.

GORGUTS were always very consistent, and that is why they were so great, and they topped themself every time it seems like.
