Metal / Re: Zyklon-B Producitons

update: summoning of shadows came in the mail today. the only problem i came across with zyklon b productions was the communication...getting a response from the label takes awhile.

anyway, the album is truly awesome. so much sentiment lie in those riffs and what a voice the singer has... very ghastly sounding. it would have been nice if they printed their lyrics....but i suppose the candlelight from necromantion must be kept clandestine.

Cult of Daath's Doomed by the Witch tape has really ghastly sounding vocals on it, imo: http://youtu.be/N1ndnqVJlpo

Metal / Zyklon-B Producitons

Everyone I've spoken to has told me it is basically a gamble to deal with that label/person. A simple google search will yield a lot of forum threads about Zyklon B Productions being a rip-off.

Seeing that Legion of Doom's Summoning of Shadows was voted Best of 2012, can any of you admins who bought the cd tell me about your experience??? I'm dying to buy this album, god damn it.

Or anyone for that matter.

Thank you :)

Is this dude on welfare because he can't cope with reality? Is anyone else bothered by this? Never knew he lives only 20 minutes away from me till today. Perhaps I should go pay him a visit. That might motivate him to look for a fucking job.

Seriously, this was just sad. Very sad. Wow.

I love these harpsichord pieces by Legion of Doom. Can you recommend me any composers that you think I might like based on these songs below? Thank you

Interzone / Re: How do people cure their addictions?

I think the general saying 'once an addict, always an addict' is  true. I'm observing that with a relative who has replaced alcohol with weed and a dumb girlfriend. Love too, is an addiction. It is called being pussy-whipped.

I also think an addict should be introduced into barbell training. That would be a fine substitute by ten-fold.

Crazy fact though is that some of the finest lifters were some of the most proficient drinkers. Doug Hepburn comes to mind.

I weigh a mere 130 pounds at nearly 6 feet. I eat until I am full, but it is very very difficult to gain weight. I play tennis and swim, but do not do any strength training as I am afraid I will lose more weight. What should I do?

1. Gallon of milk a day. Start gradually so that your body can adjust. GOMAD exists because of skinny guys.

2. Buy the book and do your homework.

3.Never be afraid.

I was never of the genetically gifted stock. Matter of fact, I hated sports as a kid. I was your average metal-head.

Just my 2 cents but I always love these kind of grandiose statements from musicians and people in general.  Darken can say whatever he wants!  He walks the walk and talks the talk.

Darken was the master of these Romantic statements.

He probably knows how to fight real well, too. I like Darken. Definitely like to have a beer with him.

Anyone from Los Angeles? I know Prozak is. Anyway, they should install a massive eugenics program or something like it to fix the 'too many unwanted children' problem here. We also have a huge poverty/gang issue which looks like it is only going to get worse. Much destruction at many different levels goes on in this sunny Southern Californian city.

I envy those who live in a homogeneous European society. And I'm not even 'white'. Do your best to protect it. You don't want the Malls of America infesting your community.

Order of Nine Angles 21 Satanic Statements

1. Respect not pity or weakness, for they are a disease which makes sick the strong.

2. Test always your strength, for therein lies success.

3. Seek happiness in victory but never in peace.

4. Enjoy a short rest, better than a long.

5. Come as a reaper, for thus you will sow.

6. Never love anything so much you cannot see it die.

7. Build not upon sand, but upon rock. And build not for today or yesterday but for all time.

8. Strive ever for more, for conquest is never done.

9. And die rather than submit.

10. Forge not works of art but swords of death, for therein lies great art.

11. Learn to raise yourself above yourself so you can triumph over all.

12. The blood of the living makes good fertilizer for the seeds of the new.

13. He who stands atop the highest pyramid of skulls can see the furthest.

14. Discard not love but treat it as an impostor, but ever be just.

15. All that is great is built upon sorrow.

16. Strive not only forwards, but upwards for greatness lies in the highest.

17. Come as a fresh strong wind that breaks yet also creates.

18. Let love of life be a goal but let your highest goal be greatness.

19. Nothing is beautiful except man: but most beautiful of all is woman.

20. Reject all illusion and lies, for they hinder the strong.

21. What does not kill, makes stronger.

Okay, I'm to lazy to see if these names have landed on this thread but anyway, I recommend Stutthof albums and Acherontas, both from Greece. They make majestic, captivating, Emperor/Gorgoroth worshiping Mediterranean black metal.

I like that. "Adversity keeps us honest".

Definitely keeps you on check.

You know, a member messaged me a few days ago and asked me if I incorporate martial arts into my regimen. I do not. I should, however. What is keeping me back is my stubbornness and laziness to make time to learn how to fight. I'd love to have a coach for this. Anyway, I've only been in a brawl twice. The first time I was victorious (LOL - was 16 at the time, and I was always a skinny dude) and the second time, well by now that should be obvious...I lost!

Here's an excellent article on how to correctly program martial arts with strength training: http://www.jimwendler.com/2012/02/531-and-mma/

Throughout the week, Master Wendler recommends you should do your martial arts thing and conditioning. It is only twice a week at the gym, or home gym, where you should be lifting the iron to get stronger.

If you look careful enough, you can find an uploaded copy of the old edition of "Starting Strength". But that only works so far. You need to have a hard copy to take with you to the gym :)
