Perhaps some artists from the Industrial/EBM/Darkwave genre?

ex. Skinny Puppy, SPK, Front Line Assembly, Clan of Xymox, The Changelings etc..

Obviously the ones that take a more serious neoclassical approach.  Im sure these bands inspired a lot of metal or was inspired by it.

The new song doesn't sound promising at all,  very predictable and boring.

If you are going to decide to listen to music while you fall asleep, I found that that Beherit's Electric Doom Synthesis to be an excellent album to fall asleep to.  :D

Some negligible sound remastering, different artwork and expanded comments in the booklet notes. Also there are demos added onto the end of the album. I think there was also some video featured added onto Peace Sells... but I might be confusing the format the album was printed on.

Note: Please stay away from the re-releases as much as possible, if you find an original take it as quickly instead.  These re-releases are more like re-recorded, the production is clear, but somehow it doesnt have that dark metal atmosphere.  It now sounds rather cheesy and pop-ish(if thats a word ;)).

I guess Slayer were "Thrash" to some extent on 'Undisputed Attitude.' Though it was really an exercise in treading water and recorded years after the end of their essential period, taken out of context I quite like some of that album.

that albulm was a tribute to punk bands (mostly minor threat), i dont get why they did it :-/, but they played thrash on purpose.  Although it does sound badass :D

Metal / Re: Future of metal? (Yes/No)
« on: January 08, 2006, 03:09:21 AM »
NO FUTURE FOR METAL, mainstream society accepted all forms of metal and its culture, Retro culmutative has taken over, metal seems to have reached its peak :(

if there is a future for metal, it will have the same ideas from black metal that will be to violent and extreme for society to handle, but i see that no one is willing to go for it ;)
