Liberty is the American spirit. The only problem, people today are too stupid to hold liberty.

Interzone / Re: Hessian.org Banned at Local Library
« on: June 30, 2010, 11:11:16 PM »
Where I'm currently sitting at the Delhi Hills Branch of the Hamilton County Public Library in Cincinnati, OH, http://www.hessian.org is banned for the following reasons: Extreme politics/opinion.

There is a space for comments/questions below this message and I typed a rant that is too long for any admin to give a flying shit. Half of this library's terminals are used up by adolescents, browsing youtube and facebook or playing crude little flash video games. Extreme politics and opinions? I thought the library was one of the last safe havens where radical views could be expressed! Will they soon start burning the works of Marx and Nietzsche because they're too "extreme"?

Has anyone else had similar problems with their home/school/public networks?
Marx should be burned due to stupidity.

banned for the occult is all too funny. A year ago I tried to look into the occult, only to find it is some christian fantasy.

Good. We should reclaim this land, and seize any undeveloped land, to preserve its natural character.

Then we should clear out the ghettoes and ship everyone in them to Africa, Asia or the middle east.

Get rid of the failed and replace it with trees. Reclaim the dead suburbs and inner cities.

Not everyone in ghettos is black, asian, or middle eastern.

Just saying.

Its pretty fucked up that not even 10 years later, they are planning on building a Mosque at the sight of an Islamic terrorist act.

This is how Islam works, they built a Mosque signifying victory.

It appears we are too weak to fight Islam.

Interzone / Re: Richard Dawkins worth checking out?

It really is the blind faith that is the problem, and Dawkins does suffer the same problems in this regard as many Christians.  They share at least the assumption that we can know certain things that simply lie outside our realm of knowledge.  Big bang or Garden of Eden... were you there to see either?  And yet you base your understanding of everything outside yourself around various texts upholding either theory and use them as the basis for their arguments.

I have never seen the rainforests or Australia, should I start questioning my blind faith in them?
That is a little different, since you can go on google and find images of it, wikipedia for information, etc. Dawkins and other radical atheists don't only say that "god" probably doesn't exist, they say that god does not exist, which implies some sort of knowledge that humans do not have, ie. a belief. In reality they are anti-theists, while the real atheists most incorrectly identify themselves as agnostics. Everyone is an agnostic since no one really knows, its just whether you're brave enough to admit we don't have all of the answers.

I agree with Conservationist, if you are for whatever reason anti-religion, then just ignore it and move on with your life. Focus on what you believe the truth is.

I too enjoy the Two Hunters album. Everything after that has been pretty bad.

I can see the MBV/shoegaze influence, but since recently I've been getting into shoegaze, I do not mind this. Certainly the genres are related or have influenced each other in some ways.

Why is there a jenk link on this site? Never heard about it before. This is disgusting, and extreme immature.

Also: It would have been funnier in OP is you had a non-disgusting formula for mustard gas, and advertised it as the next greatest thing.

I used to be a Rage Against the Machine fan, when I was an anarchist, pot-head, 15 year old.
I don't think any political opinion is valid until you're atleast 18-20. When you're that young, you're generally pretty dumb.

Dawkins seems as stupid any anyone who follows anything else blindly, except he does it for "atheism". In reality, Dawkins and other atheists (same shit heads as humanist theists) are just anti-theists.

That's quite funny. I would have went off on the BM thing. Good job.

If anyone wants to do good metal trolling, trolling the nu-metal/meshuggah crowd is good. They gravitate around the meshuggah forum and the seven string forum.

LOL, the first paragraph asserts thst most people think that there's no room for homosexuals in metal... talk about ignorant of the genre's history!

Metalheads have a notorious reputation for being homophobic. That's probly where they culled their assertion from.

But then, most metalheads are morons and probly have never even met a gay person.

True, but you have to remember that Metal came of age in the 80's, a time when basically all of decent society was unapologetically "homophobic"(that is to say anti-faggotry). I would agree that Metalheads/Hessians were more vocally anti-gay, but generally no more ideologically so than most of society at that time. Although I am essentially ambivalent about homosexuality on the whole, I will never be comfortable with it to be perfectly honest - that's how deep-rooted those ideas are to many of us old bastards.
It could also be part of the natural repulsion towards homosexuals. You have to remember, it is a mental disability. Metal should never promote the weak.

I thought Blut Aus Nord - Memoria Vetusta II was only a little less cheaper than the dismal 'The Work Which Transforms God' and with a more studious but mechanical application of Burzumic conventions.
I didn't like TWWTG, and I only liked 3 songs of the Odinist album. I do like their older stuff however. I just thought this album has something different from most other albums. Very spiritual album. Wish I could find more stuff like this.

Depression is majorly an environmental thing, the psychologists and other fucktards who prescribe these little lies in a bottle don't care about the surrounding filth and degeneracy, they are concerned with people 'getting back to work', not with fulfillment nor quality of experience in everyday life...
So true. Psychologists are just another prop under the bloated, corrupt global economy. They all push Creationism, Individualism, Capitalism, Humanism etc. All the things that keep the slave machine rolling.
I would argue against this. If anything, its some form of humanistic big bang theory.

It overplays NS in BM. I guess this paper/site holds primarily NS beliefs.

That last Blut Aus Nord should not be ignored. My personal favorite of 2009.
