I would agree, I'd even extend it to is doom project Stabat Mater. But i dont see it happening for 2 reasons:

a)He failed to understand it's impossible to play worthy black metal ever after 1996.
b)He doesn't fit the anus politically.

Same problem goes for German, which id guess as his native language (considering his nick). "Aktuell" translates to "topical"...

Difference is, classical isn't inherently built on anti-Christian principles.

Although I don't like Mozart that much anyway.

That band he mentioned obviously isnt, either.

Oh, and:

Also, if they are Christian, like Crimson Moonlight, they are never worth listening to, period.

I totally agree, same goes for Bach, Beethoven and Mozart. [/idiocy]

i really like them but are they worth listen to?

Ive never heard of them, but saying in one sentence that you like them AND asking if you should listen to them seems retarded to me. are you afraid of an own opinion??

- here

Simple words, effective thoughts. I would add that one can sell out for any motivation other than the music itself, and by "music itself" I mean music as a conveyance of artistic spirit, and not simply "a jam."

Just about any classic painter sold out, same goes for quite a few composers, and still noone whines about it.

Well... Darkthrone have kind of always been labelled as THE black metal band, and they have set alot of standards in black metal...
Besides, almost all people talk about them as a black metal band...

So critizise them for what people say about them? Weird...

On the actual album id have to say i pretty much like it... nothing like a great album musicwise, but an enjoyable listen nonetheless when im in a certain mood.
But the best part really is the humorous part of it. Especially that all the kultkiddies who take the black metal imagery just a tad bit too serious and really get pissed about this album. Darkthrone in a trailerpark, indicating that one might grow out of one's corpsepaint eventually seems just too much to take for them...
