Metal / Intestine Baalism - New Album
« on: November 05, 2008, 01:59:24 PM »
If you are wondering what the hell this is check out the Audiofile section.

Apparently they have recorded their third album,  "Ultimate instinct":

The 3rd album, “Ultimate Instinct” was recorded in 2007-2008. This is a concept album the ideas for which took Seiji a great amount of effort to create and develop. Of course, the sound is full of hooks and contains a fabulous mixture of old school Death Metal, speed, heaviness and beautiful melody.

Song from the upcoming album.

Metal / Re: More fuel for the Venom argument

Hellhammer's implication was that they wanted to be a more extreme version of the envelope that Venom (amongst others) were pushing at the time.

After all, at the time the extreme Metal bands considering themselves to be anti-musical (hence the reference to killing music).

So, it was a "compliment"?  :)

It kind of reminds me of early Norwegian BM scene with the anti-everything/hate your idols attitude.

I already PMed Vanguard, but anyway just to be sure. Here are some BURZUM tabs I found on some backup CD from the old .com site (plus Mayhem's "Funeral Fog" I  think).

After reading this I have to wonder why hasn't he got out of the business yet? I mean, in a world with fast communication using it (mostly) for gossip & slandering people you don't like (or just for the kicks), and where you spend your free time thinking where to buy certain useless things so you can spare few $$ for buying (ofcourse) even more useless crap...

I rather like some of Setherial's later material.  I particularly enjoy "Lords of the Nightrealm" and "Hell Eternal".  I can't hear any "cheese" factor on those albums.

All art is communication, and all communication is subjective except for the immanent.  Everyone's perceptions vary, so what one person interprets as "fairly decent" another may interpret as "masterpiece".

and your signature/comment/whatever :

Forever Supremacy.

Here is the Megaupload version, taken from MySpace using some free-ware sound recorder, so the sound might be a bit worse than on the 1 000 000 images and sounds downloaded at once (i.e. original) site.
