If we're referring to the EEVILL view of Satan, that's correct.

I think the Luciferian view has more depth than that.

Satan isn't assumed to exist, rather is an example of a worldview. Similar to paganism in fact.

Satan becomes the face of diverting from Judeo-Christian morals and embracing the realization that death, decay, and rebellion are part of life and therefore cannot not intrinsically be bad.

It's a step closer to reality.

I feel like I'm a very spiritual/esoteric person, living in a logical, scientific world. I can't really envision anything supernatural to exist, which I suppose is why I love black metal so much. I get to pretend Satan exists, and that he's worth worshiping, for reasons that are beyond my comprehension. It's been the only source of beauty in my life for a great while, now.
Is the world actually scientific or is that merely what our culture is currently obsessed with?

If worshiping Satan in an unserious manner brings you joy, perhaps there's something more to it than meets the eye.

What does Satan represent?  What would happen if you worshiped that directly?

Is it unimportant if one is not?

Never happened to me.

Does that mean I'm too ugly?  :(

This actually isn't that bad. I'd listen to it over Ara anytime.

There's some suspicious pseudo-science in there, but the descriptions of the changes produced by that frequency are accurate. I decided to tune my instruments down to that and it definitely had a positive effect.

To broken modern man it may seem like a fallacy, but the ancients knew that religion describes something that nothing else can.

I may be tarding here, but isn't it science that seeks to explain only the explainable?

Cosmic Trigger I: Final Secret of the Illuminati

First time I read it, it was like receiving a revelation of the universe beamed into my brain, and I still learn something each time I reread it.

This is the book that made the distinction between reality and perception apparent. Humans often like to think that what we perceive is real, and only that is - however, we often lack information and make erroneous judgments in order to fit our existing belief systems. Meanwhile reality keeps merrily churning away, laughing at us.

This was the book that cultivated a sense of agnosticism in me about everything I experience. It lessened my desire to label and define everything and instead simply observe. And be.

What do you want from these boards?
A place for exchanging high-quality ideas without the trappings of ego. I come here because there's a lot of opportunity to learn from other posters and I like to think I'm not a detriment to discussion. Furry porn is always appreciated, too.

What's a fearful discussion anyway?
I think it's one where truth is viewed as less important than how people react emotionally to ideas. Arguing with a leftist: if you say something that don't agree with, they view it as a personal attack and proof you're an uncaring hitler-like monster.

Isn't that the point of the Chasm/Metal divide?
