Then, there were the nerd metal heads: mostly short hair, glasses, plain t-shirts or polos, genuine nice guy personalities, no drugs but occasional drinking, kind of goodie-two-shoes (not because they couldn't think for themselves but because they knew what was best for them), never got in to trouble with the law, got good grades and were generally smarter than average, fiscally conservative but socially liberal. They listened to traditional/power metal; stuff like Iced Earth, Iron Maiden, Stratovarius, Symphony X, and some prog stuff like Rush. All these kids got into good schools and are getting/have gotten STEM degrees.

Totally certan there's none of those here.

Freedom is slavery.

People are afraid if they're not busy, they will have to actually experience life itself. Without rules, uncontroled. Man they'd be fucked then.

Seriously, I think people are reading too much into these places. They're internet sites, not tribes.

If you start posting on them, other people will show up.

Why is everyone here so "contrarian"? Any idea that is suggested is bad, not good enough, etc etc

Just focus on the mission, writing about metal and promoting it. See if you can get into a newspaper or two.

This thread is a huge disappointment. Someone said this forum was full of trolls. And this is the best you can do with a poop thread? You sadden me, DeathMetal.Org, you sadden me.

Everyone wants their daughter to be a prostitute, have some dude cum on her face, maybe penetrate her anus, or call some friends so everyone gets a turn.

History Channel? Everyone calls it the Hitler channel because they're always showing WW2 docs with Hitler ranting.

What are our ends?

This will probably be a not popular question, but is metal populist? Black Sabbath had #1 singles and wrote pop songs, Metallica was popular even in their "hard" days, Slayer sells out stadiums, even Cannibal Corpse is huge now. Metal music appears to be designed for the popular culture and the normal people who inhabit it. Even Burzum is writing pop songs now.

Do we have to all quit and go home because this music is for the crowd, and not the elites? Are we elites? It seems to me that the kids in the private colleges are the smart ones, while the public school kids have a certain kind of functionary intelligence and tend to go on to have positions of obvious power in society. While the private school kids become artists, visionaries and so forth.

Does our society still have a caste structure? If so, is metal for the masses or the elites? If it's for the masses, why is this site trying to treat it like an elite?

On Facebook, someone said it was because they didn't like the new commercial direction or the friendly web page.

On the rare occasions that we do, in very small doses, it is music that inspires, or reminds us of vanished glory.

Like power metal? Cool, man.

Falot is right, the we is everyone. I think metal is really beautiful. You can't run away from what's scary in life, or the beauty you find is fake. Metal to me is like a dose of reality while everybody else is listening to "baby rub your booty on my face" and thinking vapid thoughts.

Does anyone else not like to poop in public restrooms?

I don't like it at all. They tend to be grubby places, germy and gross. What is that brown liquid, on the floor, coffee or... oh god no. They are not very private. People come in and look at your shoes and they're like "Oh hi Addison, you're taking a huge crap. Tell me all about it." People also judge you on the smell of your excrement. You'll hear people make comments like too much broccoli or this guy eats a lot of pork.

Today however myself and Del Taco brought to my workplace a spectacular poop. If it were a fish, it would a prize catch. I could see bits of red pepper in it. I brought a book and read it while I polluted the air. I hear people groan as they opened the door and caught a whiff. When I was done, I wish they had a scale in the toilet because I swear I took the biggest poop of anyone here today.

The only down side is that I can't tell anyone about it. Must have been 2kg if it was an ounce.
