Today I listened to the first two Sanctuary albums. Warrel Dane is a very strong vocalist though he can sometimes sound a little cheesy. This is very good power metal, some of the best I have heard.

I Agree.

Today Think of Misery - Poverty is NO Disgrace

and         Powermad - Absolute Power

Yes Zyklon-B, WAR (now TOTAL WAR), Necrophobic - Nocturnal Silence? or Dodheimsgard?

Why people would take anything from Decibel seriously is beyond me.

radical.

Sorry to say this, but this is my personal view, and I think some here in South America too, I hope!

Lamb of God - All That Remains - Mastodon - Shadow Fall - Pseudo Metal = Crap
Trivium - Rhapsody of fire - DragonForce - Children of Bodom - Edguy - Sonata Arctica - Music for Kids
The Gathering - Epica - Within Temptation - Lacuna Coil - music for Wimpys
Machine Head - P A N T E R A - Fear Factory is music for Fake (Hate me but is real).

The real metalheads, never NEVER leave metal, a true metalhead can hear everything, but can not like any music.

I prefer listening to a boring metal band, to hear CRAP. Slipknot SUCK!!

 :-X

PS.for those who are touched by P a n t e r a, just look at his past, present and future, as Bully others, they did seem to Satyricon a band of fools, and Nocturno Oculto followed his game, I lost respect for all of them after that.

Orange Day, 25th October 2013
‘Safe Public Spaces for Women and Girls’

In July last year the Secretary-General’s UNiTE to End Violence against Women campaign proclaimed every 25th of the month as Orange Day. Initiated and led by the UNiTE campaign Global Youth Network, worldwide activities implemented on this day by UN country offices and civil society organizations strive to highlight issues relevant to preventing and ending violence against women and girls, not only once a year, on 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women), but every month.

Under the heading ‘Safe Spaces for Women and Girls’, this year the UNiTE campaign is focusing its Orange Day activities on highlighting recommendations of the agreed conclusions of the 57th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW57) which took place in March this year. In April, UNiTE focused on ‘Safe Work Places for Women and Girls’, in May, ‘Safe Homes for Women and Girls’ while in June, Orange Day coincided with the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture (June 26th) and the campaign focused on ‘State Custody and Care as Safe Spaces’ . In July it drew attention to ‘Cyber Space as Safe Space for Women and Girls’ while the theme for August was ‘Sexual Violence against Women and Girls in Conflict’. Ahead of the International Day of the Girl Child, October 11th, the theme for Orange Day in September was ‘Safe Schools for Girls’ and on October 25 the UNiTE campaign will highlight ‘Safe Public Spaces for Women and Girls’.

I have a friend who hit three times to his wife, the first time, just happened, the second time was charged to the police and was booked, the third time, was accused to the police and is now in prison (2 years), because I get a third time ?
she always look to my friend!
now she goes partying, her daughter at home with grandmother, on Saturday, I saw her with another guy drunk?
I agree that she deserved to be hit, even a bitch
but why wait until a third time?
who was beaten?

Interzone / Winamp......is Dead!!!
« on: November 21, 2013, 02:40:30 PM »
Winamp is a media player for Windows-based PCs and Android devices, written by Nullsoft, now a subsidiary of AOL. It is proprietary freeware/shareware, multi-format, extensible with plug-ins and skins, and is noted for its graphical sound visualization, playlist, and media library features.
Winamp was developed by Justin Frankel and Dmitry Boldyrev, and its popularity grew quickly, along with the developing trend of MP3 file sharing.
On November 20, 2013, AOL announced that Winamp.com would shut down on December 20, 2013, and the software would no longer be available for download after that date.

Interzone / The Phonograph, Record Player, Gramophone and the Future...
« on: November 21, 2013, 01:12:41 PM »
The phonograph, record player, or gramophone (from the Greek:gramma, "letter" and phōnē, "voice"), is a device introduced in 1877 for the recording and reproduction of sound recordings. The recordings played on such a device consist of waveforms that are engraved onto a rotating cylinder or disc. As the cylinder or disc rotates, a stylus or needle traces the waveforms and vibrates to reproduce the recorded sound waves.
The phonograph was invented in 1877 by Thomas Edison. While other inventors had produced devices that could record sounds, Edison's phonograph was the first to be able to reproduce the recorded sound. His phonograph originally recorded sound onto a tinfoil sheet phonograph cylinder, and could both record and reproduce sounds. Alexander Graham Bell's Volta Laboratory made several improvements in the 1880s, including the use of wax-coated cardboard cylinders, and a cutting stylus that moved from side to side in a "zig zag" pattern across the record. At the turn of the 20th century, Emile Berliner initiated the transition from phonograph cylinders to gramophone records: flat, double-sided discs with a spiral groove running from the periphery to near the center. Other improvements were made throughout the years, including modifications to the turntable and its drive system, the needle and stylus, and the sound and equalization systems.
The gramophone record was one of the dominant audio recording formats throughout much of the 20th century. From the mid-1980s, phonograph use declined sharply because of the rise of the Compact Disc and other digital recording formats. While no longer mass market items, modest numbers of phonographs and phonograph records continue to be produced in the second decade of the 21st century.

Cannibal Holocaust. Metal music achieved more than its, mostly aesthetic I believe, influences. It seems that such movies were rarely above the level of leftist social critique.

uff Cannibal Holocaust, as I could forget this classic

and this is not movie but would not know how to classify it, because documentary is not ...
