The discursive nature of the Bible, projects a linear display of time from Genesis to Apocalypse, detached from the homeostatic nature of the cyclical conception, even when during the Middle Ages both perceptions coexisted. There's as well, an economical focus in the development of the Bible relied on productivity, much more than any other sacred scripture.

In the Ten Talents Parable, we find productivity and spirituality equated, however, production keeps a sacred purpose. In our times the  degeneration of this concept  leads us to utilitarianism, or productivity and materialistic happiness equated, dangerous specially with the actual technology.

Free will does not mean: we can do whatever we want and it will have no consequences for us. No, it means: we are responsible and will be judged for everything evil we do out of free will.

Excuse me but that's a quite exoteric and common statement among modern christians that leads to imperfect contrition instead of salvation through God's love. From a traditionalist and esoteric perspective, this love is nothing but an emulation of His will, an identification that surpasses the ego, and since He is the Absolute, emulating His will means to be free.

The slavish ego, stills creating karmic debts, in spite of his 'elections'.

When two concepts are so close to perfection, it's almost impossible to distinguish their order. Only in this way, tolerance does work, and I'll respect those who say that Death Metal is better. ;)

Quote
Greek music was the embodiment of pathos, which is roughly the human experience and condition, the emotions of what it is to exist. Pathos is the opposite of logos, or the spoken/written word and all that is logical. Logos could be applied to music, but it could never control it, just like reason can be used as a mask over the emotions. In Greek theatre, pathos represented the spirit of Dionysus. It was surpressed for a while, but always won out in the end, just like nature always won out over reason and logic.

Guttural voices and shrieking follows the path of pathos, totally. Altough they may appear to be 'spoken' due to their lack of 'melody', their efficiency lies in their theatrical expression. Rock oriented gutturals fail again, simply due to their poor scripts.

Beausoleil, Bobby: Rapidshare, Blogspot, Megaupload

Beausoleil, Bobby

Lucifer Rising Soundtrack (Megaupload)

The Orkustra & Early Demos (Megaupload)

Ambient, progressive rock music.

It's incredibly difficult, nay perhaps impossible, to discuss Lucifer Rising without mentioning its "controversial" (to put it mildly) creator and his story. Bobby Beausoleil is currently incarcerated in California, serving time for his part in the murders committed by the infamous Manson Family. But his bizarre and horrific criminal record is not what's interesting about Beausoleil, or Lucifer Rising. Before his involvement with Manson, Beausoleil was active on the San Francisco psychedelic music scene, and was engaged to score Lucifer Rising, an intense occult meditation film by Kenneth Anger.

Not so good movie, altough excellent as a videoclip for its soundtrack.

I think we should make a distinction between animism and pantheism.

In animism, the concept of duality is not conformed yet, reality is a pile of forces without any categorization that conflict among themselves without any specific order.

Dualism is the result of categorization of phenomena, and brings a notion of order and movement in a dual division of substance... but, what conforms the laws of this interaction?

Pantheism is the notion of a God that gathers in His own nature the opposites, their interaction and their sum. (In daily life you find a lot of deluded 'pantheists', but that's not the guilt of the concept, again)

Organization is not just an intellectual task that must be carried because is logical; it's also human unity under a vital emotion, and a deep sense of brotherhood.  No triumph is possible without these both spheres. Very often, logic gets linear around here, forgetting Will.

I think that the feeling of this place (do you feel it?) is created by a conjuction of low self esteems that wish to prove them high. Really, there's nothing to prove: we're honestly concerned about our enviroment and our people, what else do we need to make a commitment?

I'm pretty sure that most of you are honourable people. I love honourable people.

"The Tao that can be expressed is not the eternal Tao."

While Tao itself is unapproachable through words (the system alone), Taoism as a system seeks to awake the spiritual perception to know the Tao.

The same happens with Truth and Traditionalism.
