Metal / Re: Use of female vocals in Metal (gimmicks aside)

Women in metal are useless. They just weren't there. They are mostly vocalists and bassists (hardly important or decisive in shaping song) and it reflects their clueless, vanity and lack of creative thought.
I've never heard any beautiful music composed by a woman, Mythic comes close but they do not compare with the best of the genre. It might be a good idea to open a potentially interesting thread discussing the ability (or lack there of) of women to compose music. I do not believe all women are clueless or lack creative thought, or even non-artistic. They just seem to be better at disciplines such as literature rather than composing music. I personally, don't know why and would like to discover why this is.

Judging by your choice of words, you know he exactly what he said.
You figured that out all by yourself? I'm sure he was accusing me of being insincere, I'm just not sure what made him think that and I know he's too smart to be using funny internet words to say something he could have just said plainly.

Female vocals hold little appeal for me in any genre and I have no interest in a metal band with a female voice, finding it far too cloyingly brittle to be worthwhile (I don't think I've ever thought Varg's shriek sounded remotely feminine, either).  In keeping with your comment about aesthetics, most of the time, women in metal are used as fluff pieces, wearing cute outfits with spiked collars; they are generally in the band because one (or more) of the members was trying to fuck her at audition time.  Indie crock bands are fond of sticking some borderline attractive girl on keyboards for the same reason. In cases where the women aren't deliberate masturbatory objects, they're either relegated to the shadows on the bass guitar, or they're forced to play the fat renaissance fair maiden card.  Zzzz.
Really? I had no idea some people used female members as a gimmick to sell more albums, thanks for the heads up detective hoodwink. I don't care if some bands like to use female members to be cool and unique I only care about how a female vocalist may have been utilized to good effect. I know it's never happened thats why I'm discussing it hypothetically. Sure, we have Mythic and Nuclear Death but as they grunt more than shriek, they only have a slightly effeminate nuance to their voices. And when I say aesthetic I mean the aesthetic of the music not their physical aesthetic on stage. For example, Kraftwerk had a pop aesthetic although their music was much more than that they used their pop aesthetic to their advantage to achieve a certain atmosphere or feeling (for lack of a better word).

Also, good troll.
What are you trying to say? Say it plain, I don't speak dipshit.
It is unimportant if this ideal female shriek ever comes about.  Bands should be spending more time on the content of their music rather than the devices they use to get it off the ground.  I think a guitar, a bass and a drum, with a typical metal singer dong all the old cliches is just as able to make great new metal as a high budget band without the fluff.  Your idea has more to do with Halloween than making great metal.
Aesthetics are part of the content of the music, just as appearance and nose are part of the content of a good beer or wine. I don't understand where you have gotten the idea that anyone can make great new Metal, it's clearly a dead genre. The wording of your comment makes it almost seem as if you feel threatened that this thread is going to take the masculinity out of metal and replace it with female pop music.

Uh... have you been listening to any Burzum lately? Seems he already did what you speak of.
Vikernes has a severe shriek of a singing voice, however not being a woman he isn't what I spoke of, nor is he castrated to have the full vocal range possible for a human being. His voice still sounds masculine despite the high octave. I think Gorgoroth is a better example of what I'm thinking of because there is nothing masculine to me about that singers voice. The music also has a certain effeminate quality to my ears that I can't quite but my finger on.

Why tear up your throat?  Just learn to control air flow through the false folds, like all proper Extreme Metal vocalists.
I must admit my ignorance of singing and anatomy of the human throat, I have no idea what false folds are. I noticed that many Metal vocalists after years of spewing Satanic lust and fascist war command tend to develop raspy voices.

I've been listening to Gorgoroths real albums lately (Self titled and Anti-christ) and it's been making me think about how female vocals may be used to achieve a certain atmosphere that would not be possible with a male vocalist. Females can distort their voice to painful shrieks that would give an excellent atmosphere of derangement and hysteria. The only female underground Metal vocalist I know of is Lori Bravo of Nuclear Death and Dana Duffey of Mythic. I haven't listened to them in over a year  but if my memory serve me right both of their vocalists employ more of a grunt and mostly not particularly feminine to me unlike Gorgoroths vocalist on their first two albums, which is a better example of the sort of aesthetic I'm thinking of but I'm sure we can get higher than that with a more skilled female vocalist. The only problem is finding a woman with a beautiful voice willing to tear up her throat in the name of art!

Consider the number of metal bands that pose for pictures with firearms vs posing for pictures with classical weaponry.
Blasphemy always used bullets, grenades, and rifles in their live rituals.

Can you make a music without a genre? Simply put, I do not have enough experience as a appreciator of music to form an opinion. Also, if not all music can be categorized into a particular genre, what are some example of music without categorization?

I predict that in about five years either Metal is going to begin to be resurrected as an unfamiliar or a new artistic movement will occur not directly related to metal.

I don't think this is accurate. In a degenerate era, degenerates will prosper whereas those with self-control will be the ones who are ostracised - and if you are shunned for positive behaviour, you're probably going to shift towards degenerate behaviour, or just make yourself as unnoticeable as possible. To discriminate between the strong and weak we must give adequate opportunity to live a lifestyle that would be suited to each and then gauge individuals based on where they end up. We haven't quite reached this stage yet.
I'm honestly not entirely sure I know what you are trying to say. Degenerates of our society seem to be as failing as ever, in general they stay poor and miserable. Healthy people are still most commonly found in the upper economic echelons and live much more enjoyable and exciting lives than people who pathologically can't get their shit together. Sure, you'll find plenty of people who really don't need to be breathing in those same upper class neighborhoods but these are the people who have used their lack of character, average competence, and dedication to becoming wealthy to their advantage and these are the degenerates who have prospered. Geniuses rarely (if ever, honestly) find themselves below middle class.

It's also worth noting most people middle class and above are a mix of noble and peasant backgrounds, mostly (if not entirely) noble men with peasant women which brings us back to what I claimed earlier that even the best men have often uncontrollable sexual instincts that interfere with good breeding.

ostracizing those without the (genetic) self-control to not be sluts.
In this, man is blessed to find itself in such a degenerate era. What time in history would it be easier to tell who is strong than in the one where there is almost no authority to enforce any standards? If the better men are able to apply eugenics on a wide scale, it will be more than obvious who they'd like to be sterile.

Guess the ancients were right -- the sexual behavior of peasants results in our downfall.
That, and the propensity for otherwise noble men to occasionally breed with peasant women, and also nobles not breeding enough in general. It's depressing to know that a genius like Aristotle's only son was with a slave woman, it's clear that the natural desire for men to breed with anyone reasonably physically attractive is a curse, at times.

Define the "European" race. I could be wrong on this but doesn't Europe describe a region rather than a specific race?
It does but I'm using it as a term of convenience. It's more tasteful and descriptive than "white" but most people won't know off hand what I'm talking about if I say "unaltered caucasoids" (as opposed to Arabs, Jews, Armenians etc, who are morphologically more or less caucasoid but genetically mixed).

What do you mean by I'm looking at this issue like a modern man, Cargest?

Then you have your answer.  As I have said, we must focus on ourselves, if only for now.  Perhaps at the end of the purge, we'll have reached a general state of enlightenment at which we'll commit mass-suicide in order to reach the true God.  On the other hand, we may realise that the faults of other races can easily be corrected, if we just conquer their lands and submit them to rigorous genetic engineering.  Who knows?  The fact of the matter is that we are not strong enough to be able to call ourselves significantly "superior" at the moment.  Keywords: at the moment.
My question is as follows: Why would Europeans want to make other human races better than they are (sounds dangerous, considering most races resent Europeans) instead of take their land for their own? Also, what do you mean by mass suicide? Wouldn't it be better described as mass homicide?

All races of humanity would appear very unintelligent when you reduce them to their lowest common denominator, including Europeans. Europeans however have produced disproportionate amounts of genius. I never said we should neglect eugenics for our own race. Trust me, if it were up to me no group would face as much scrutiny as Europeans of poor character, low IQ etc. because these people are in many ways a greater danger to European man than other races.

And Deadite, that was incredibly rude of you to put words in my mouth like that. I am not special and never even mentioned myself and I'm not entirely European hence why I refer to them in the third person.

Why do sites like ANUS, Corrupt, and Amerika appear to be against exterminating all other (non-European) ethnic groups? To me "pan"-nationalism is similar to individualism, except we replace individuals with nations. Not all nations are equal nor do all nations (or any nation for that matter) have a right to exist. Some nations are weak and will be taken over and preferably exterminated so their genes never threaten humanity again. It would appear to me Europeans (and their descendents in the Americas and Australia) are the greatest strain of humanity with more genius than any other race and the history of Europeans dominating other races shows this quite clearly. The only other race to have given Europeans any true competition are Mongoloids (particularly Mongolians and to a lesser extent Japanese). I know many may write this off as me having an "emotional reaction" or whatever but I'm not and I'm certainly not a "White Nationalist" which is probably more or less anti-nationalist anyway. I'm just concerned with why even the remainder of noble Europeans seem to be reluctant to accept the seemingly obvious fact they are the greatest race of man, and that the Earth belongs to them.
