Metal / Re: Disgusting Blasphemies Against God

right you are, IMO it is top-notch. Got the LP in the mail just the other day and i couldnt wait to play it. I thought it would start with a creepy fucking intro like the shining intro to "The grandmasters sessions" unfortunatly, no intro, it just kicks off with Black Cum. I find it really hard to compare to Profanatitas De Domonatia... They sound nothing alike. If you have heard the first three tracks (black cum etc.) its gives a good impression as to what the rest of the album sounds like. The atmosphere of this album takes me to a black swamp with thick goopey bubbles popping at the surface with thunderous clouds above, absolutely no colour just shades of black is all i can think of. best song of the record IMO has to be "Smashing Religious Fucking Statues"

I wish you could place your hand upon an old tree, and see what it has seen and lived through.

I thought "Goatlord" was trash at first listen. I gave it a listen a few months later and loved it, it has such a strange sounding atmosphere, watery and dooming guitars with the weird woman chants in the background. I couldnt listen to it all day long but every once in awhile, it is a treat for my ears.

Metal / Re: Why did punk die?
« on: July 23, 2010, 04:29:15 PM »
A punk i met travelling through Norway said punk was dead until president Bush was elected, since alot of punk is political, this got the scene, or at least A scene going for a little while. However since then it diminished and died down once again. Speaking of Norway, in Trondheim there is a punk house/bar/cafe that hosts hardcore punk shows, and every year punks all over Norway come down and jam for a few days. I walked by the house after the event had wrapped up, big house with a huge painting of a punk on the side, a big fence gating off the backyard, LOTS of beer bottles everywhere, and people fucking on the roof.

Has anyone purchased from RecklessRecords.com?? They have a few vinyls i want, but they seem a little sketchy, no pay pal, no user accounts or anything. Any feedback you guys have about these stores would be helpful, thanks.

What can you tell me about the soldiers relation to you then? I do not see a connection between your terminology and an actual hessian soldier.

Why a Hessian? Someone enlighten me as to why you name yourselves after some german soldiers, im really quite new to this terminology. I took a browse on the internet and couldnt find any details on the attitudes or lifestyles of these men. What makes hessians more special than any old soldier??

Metal / Re: The crucial event
« on: June 20, 2010, 01:11:52 AM »
I would be broke if stores sold all the music I love, im glad there is nothing but shit in the metal section; a small selection of shit that is. Seriously when i actually go to HMV( the only "big" music store i can think of) im the only one looking around the metal section, i never see who buys this crummy "safe" metal. I stick with mail order because most stores are so overpriced and have a horrible selection.

Metal / Coloured Vinyl Feedback
« on: June 16, 2010, 04:41:44 AM »
I've been waiting for a few records now to pop up on black vinyl, some old, some new, I was wondering if anyone had purchased some of the following. Im waiting to find a copy of "Engram", but so far i have only seen the green variant. Im also looking for "Haunting The Chapel" but i have only seen the double LP with "Live Undead" pressed on purple vinyl. Does anyone have any of these colored vinyls? How is the sound quality? I know some colored vinyls sound like shit and I dont want to waste the money on poor quality vinyls. Let me know guys.
