What about this: Declare that the majority of people are going to be sterelized. The ones that revolt are to be exterminated. It's more fair this way.

Interzone / Re: Metalhead weakness
« on: March 18, 2010, 02:16:12 PM »
This comes back to a sort of fatalism on the part of metalheads and people in general. I think the reason why alot of people do not do anything is because they do not think anything will change even if they do. This is very un-warriorlike, and in fact contrary to the will of metal but is nonetheless a syndrome that needs to be dealt with. How do we reinstill a sense of warlike vigour against all odds in metal culture? Once again, a direction or a goal would be nice, but this seems impossible now as metal culture has been contaminated with hipsters and fatalists as well......

However on the flip side, I think alot of metal heads know something is wrong, and are travesing their world and their consciousness blindly. How many of us would love to have a spiritual mentor? Or someone readily available to teach us traditional combat in line with our cultural beliefs and practices. With that said not many metal heads do anything,or so it seems because perhaps they are in themselves stuck and are exploring the universe and their own psyche slowly, surely, and carefully, but generally unsure of what they are doing. Perhaps, the intelligent ones have taken up spiritual disciplines, and work alone, and quietly......

Perhaps i am to generous?

I agree, speacially with the teacher part. I was once extremely lazy, and I still am lazy, but I'm trying to improve. I guess you have to give people time, when you're young many things are not formed yet. I still drink, snort and smoke, stay on the internet for too long, etc. but comparing to the last year, I improved. This year I decided I could take no more of extremely sedentary and lazy lifestyle. I'm working out too. Another thing I always wanted to take up: Reading. And I'm applying suggestion techniques (like coué's method. This stuff really works, trust me). I have a lot of flaws and weakness that are to be improved on. But I believe I will succeed in my goals. So, I needed no master after all. Only books, and asking questions to more experienced people in the field I want to succeed, be it music, or physical exercise. I'm planning on learning music theory. What I'm trying to show is, if you're unsatisfied with your lifestyle, you can change. I'm trying. So a lot of people that are leading bad lifestyles, if you meet them in the future, can be in a better position.

As for metal, I have no interest in helping it for now. Maybe some day when I'm really more into it. But I don't think so

« on: March 13, 2010, 02:32:30 AM »
I don't know about birds influencing the history of music....yet i think I've heard about Mussorgskij been influenced by their singing, Cage having them sing right on stage....but what i wanted to say - birds aren't exploited yet. There's much inspiration that can emerge out of their melodies. It is a strange approach to "music" as intuitive that the mankind, according to myself, didn't make use of it. But it's just another force of nature. Using bird sounds as a sketch to one's own music would be as valid and of the same quality as using any other source. Maybe even worse, because the art (maybe sorry for introducing my own point of view, i still think of this forum as a free forum for possibly clear debate) should be a revealing of one's own vocabulary using techniques learnt and experiences modulating those learnings. And that should create uniqueness.

Maybe you should analyze things on a more visceral level, that is, birds sing, humans who aren't on TV all the time are enjoying the outdoors and take great pleasure in listening them, and because it is a primitve, instinctive, inspiring sound it may influence their art, not some person recording bird sounds and sampling them on a piece of music

Maybe birds were the first musical influences when people were starting to create melodies?

lolmetal: It seems this was about the sound of the notes, not the music itself.

Yep, found this out at the early part of the week. I was driving her to school and I had "None So Vile" on and I hear this weird sounding growl in the back of the car. I look around and she is bobbing her head making unintelligble growling sounds. I started laughing and asked her if she liked it. She said that she loved it! She's six, so if I can start her off this early, then she's set for life. Here are recent metal digs.

That's great. let's wait and see if she will like some great music, or walk around with her girlfriends listen to justin timberlake, akon, or whatever's popular at the time and when hearing death metal, saying: "eeew!". And then her father comes around and says "What's the matter sweetheart, you used to love this kind of music when you were little!" And her friends would laugh and she will say "daaaaaad!"

If you stopped completely and want to move on, take one last dose of drug: Ayahuasca. No, seriously. If you have ayahuasca avaiable, take it. It is used to cure addiction did you know that? Alcoholics, for example. They take ayahuasca to stop drinking, have some mystical revelations, see some pink elephants (just kidding). It helps. Just take it one time and never again, and try to get as much meaning from it as possible. It is also good to convince people who are seriously thinking about suicide not to kill themselves. It will give you hope, and if you think about smoking pot again now you may be tempted, but if you do as I said, you cank think, "Oh, no. I already had a strong ayahuasca trip. That gave enough drug induced trance for a long time."

Get someone of real trust to give it to you. I heard of a boy who drank some then died.

Interzone / Question about understanding music
« on: March 07, 2010, 01:43:55 AM »
I'm inclined to believe our capacity to appreciate more complex music develops with age as most people who really enjoy music turn to more complex styles, like classical music, later in their lives, but many young talents that study music always appreciated this kind of music, not to mention the composer themselves (but that may be different since they lived in a time with no TV and were trained very hard). But I wanted to know, can a person being to appreciate music like Classical or good metal, if they like more simple music? Can changes occur that make them comprehend more coherent, complex works?

Can a more disciplined life, work and stimulation of the brain like meditation, or mathematics help this?

Right on, altough paying 1000 for vasectomy is not a good idea. The chinese goverment succesfully forced the people of the country to limit the number of kids. If they can do it, anybody could. They could have forced it to just 1 kid, and that reduces the population by half, and if the next generation only has 1 kid, it reduces further on.

Why not forcefully prohibit kids and forced sterelization? That can be done too. I would never accept mass murder.

It's in our nature to want to spread the semen on many women. It's like seeking food.

Stars down to earth: Bob Marley died because the treatment for his illness was to remove his toe, and that was prohibited by his rastafarian religion (they prohibit amputation of any parts of the body). So he refused to cut it even knowing that he might die.
So he still died due to his own cannabis induced idiocy? Excellent.

No, he died because his religion says that it is not OK to live as an amputee. He knew he was probably going to die.

I'm sure the way of life you described is great, but hot baths, sex, alcohol and other distractions happen in everybody's life. To be productive does not mean to be a saint. In fact, I encourage all to, when not working, studying or doing other things, to enjoy having safe sex.

Not surprisingly, they're very popular with the peasants and urban drones. Are you man, or slave-man? Go pick me some cotton, stoners!

Surprisingly I happen know people who smoke cannabis and are succesfull business man, lawyers, etc. I think you do too. It's likely that a weed smoking person can pay a non-smoking one to pick up cotton for him. Or to pick whatever he wants up.

This thread is retarded teenage posturing.

Do you want any woman? Act like a drama magnet.

Interested in a good woman, and not wasting your time on trivial shit like getting laid? Act like a responsible, masculine, warlike and powerful individual.

And you can't just "act like" that -- you need to be that.

Otherwise, enjoy your sloppy seconds on clueless drones.

well, some of us are young, and are still wanting to just have sex.

If you don't know how dreams can be messages, just pay attention to them during one week. They're not just disconnected fragments of waste, they sometimes tell whole stories. Why are'nt dreams then, just a sequence of disconnected images? I've had dreams easily interpreted by myself, not by freud's method (never read it). And not creating meaning out of absurd dream things, because the dream was with very real, important concepts and elements to my life. For example, I often dreamt of beating up real hard some people. I got the conclusion I have repressed feelings of anger towards them (I really had). That's just one kind of message, just an example, there are endless possibilities.

As one said, I don't think you can get the nutrients back from your stool (great word), but it certainly is common having it analyzed.

For the message above: That is terrible. Saying pot does not enhance thoughts/creativity because of hippies? You know that's fallacious. Did you know A LOT of extreme metal was composed on weed? I think you do. Some of the best, even. Kraftwerk took acid, etc. I know someone can say, that was a experiment with drugs that had nothing to do with the artist's work. Well, that's debatable... but in the case of metal, cannabis is very relevant, even to the creation of some major works...

About the video, after a while I don't understand it either. But on the beggining he says: Herb. Herb is a plant. Herb is good for everything. Why the people who want to do "good", say for you not to smoke herb? The people from so called goverments... They say it make you rebel. Against what? (...)

--

Some people say one of the reasons herb is discouraged by governments is because it makes people think too much. I used to think that was not true. But coming to think about it, it might be true. Certainly it's better for the government to have its people drunk than stoned... Janis Joplin liked to use alcohol and heroine, she has used cannabis and mushrooms, but she said they made her think too much, and her deal was to forget.
