Metal / Re: Help finish Birth A.D.'s debut album
« on: April 16, 2012, 03:52:19 AM »

"In just 6 days, we're halfway to our goal! Thanks to each and every one of you for supporting this album and Birth A.D.! We're really amazed by the incredible response, and we look forward to making it count when the album it out and we start coming to your towns and cause problems!

Since this is going so well, I've decided to add a special bonus item - a test pressing of the "Stillbirth of a Nation" EP on vinyl! This is a one-of-a-kind unique item (as the kids are calling it on the Skyrims), and we'll even autograph the sleeve! Anyone who contributed is automatically entered for a chance to win!

If you haven't contributed yet, now's the time to get in on the action!

We'll pick a random winner at the end of the drive next month. Thanks again for contributing, and good luck!!!

Best Regards,

Jeff and Birth A.D."

Apparently they really want to take care of their fans.

I think there are a few talented bands out there, but they are more catchy and less metal. Nothing to put next to Master for instance.

Actually I was waiting for a smartass to tell us there isn't such a thing as a 119 IQ leveled useful human.

Man this forum almost felt disappointing for a moment.

Don't know what you just did, but you've got me hypnotised all right.

Because as a whole, we're being tied down and limited by the fears of the incompetent and worthless. That means no exploration of the galaxy (400 billion planets vs. 1 Earth) and no significant breakthroughs in the use of science for fear of offending the weak, it means subsidising the poor, the degenerate, the sick so that they can lead this 'normal life' where 'no one is left behind' and then they go and overbreed beyond their worth in number, sinking the lot of us.

This makes me feel there's more something fundamentally wrong with our society, other than just their presence. Killing might be a big thing on an ethic level for some, but besides that it's actually too easy.

I sense the debate is far from finished - if ever.
For instance: the obstacle that only 120 + people seemed to approve this policy.
If we raise the IQ level beyond the intelligence of everyone here it might appear to be more credible.

It's good to know that, should the wind change, and I am actually transformed into a retard, she will continue to love me.
And I her.

Guess this is what makes me accept the retards a little. I've worked with disabled and retarded people in the past, but I never could bring up the same sympathy for them as someone like our dearest villain dr strangelo... I mean Conservationist. Still, when it comes down to family things will be different. It always seemed odd seeing people bossing around nurses, while they are too passive for taking care of their relatives themselves.

"Your family can either be known for its intelligence, or be "average."
Which do you choose?"
This is like my mother talking about clothes.

Still not sure why less people would cause less problems.

And why this desperate need to evolve? The actual smartest usually are as socially handicapped as the average drudkh album really.

No subtitles, but interesting nonetheless.

*= Pretty generous actually.

Metal / Help finish Birth A.D.'s debut album
« on: April 12, 2012, 04:01:38 AM »
"Birth A.D. is in the final stages of producing their debut full-length, "I Blame You", and they need your help! A good independent production isn't cheap, so anything you contribute to assist in the mixing and mastering process of this soon-to-be classic of crossover thrash is appreciated.

Your donation will be commemorated with the inclusion of your name on the album's thanks list, and you will be counted as part of the new Birth A.D. fan club, the Seven Billion Graves Brigade.

The Misfits had the Fiend Club, Voivod has the Iron Gang, and this is your chance to get your name immortalized as a collaborator and conspirator! Years from now when the band is huge, overrated, and not half as cool as when they started off, you can break out the album everyone really liked and say, "There's my name!"

Pledge now, and CAUSE PROBLEMS!"

Also a cool way to get your hands on the hard to find EP and some other things.

Another chance to impress with musical knowledge!

I've got to ask, bands you consider to have a flawless discography or let it be bands where everything is at least worth checking out.

*Summoning, Graveland, Averse Sefira, Gorguts, The Beatles, Kraftwerk, Beherit and Demoncy come to mind.
Haven't heard all the works of any composer out there, but I think this thread will make many shine (the usual suspects a la bruckner and haydn perhaps?)
Recently Wolfgang brought 'Impiety' under the attention, I too think they might deserve a place here.

My fanboyism demands to mention 'The Flower Kings': seemingly the typical yes/crimson/elp/genesis/floyd/tull retroheads, but still fighting to make a difference.

Interzone / Re: ANUS.COM, why do you want to kill me?
« on: April 09, 2012, 05:01:02 AM »
I've never taken an IQ test, but I found a site that matches your SAT score with different IQ scores and it came up that I have an IQ score of 111. My question here is, why do you want me to die?

I'm not dumb. My teachers always have said I'm a good writer. I'm just really bad with math and shit. I love reading, but I must admit, I probably play videogames more than I read.

I love life, and I know I have something to give back to the world, no matter what you guys say. I walk dogs for a local animal shelter and am an all-around a nice guy.

Not that I'm concerned I'll be the victim of your idiocide. Good luck convincing all those +120s to kill their friends and family.

I come here for smart discussion with fellow metalheads, but honestly, what the fuck is up with this genocide shit?

Do a real IQ test and do it a couple times, in the end you will reach an IQ level beyond your imagination. Bottom line: IQ tests are boring and most 'normal' people will reach 120 when their lives are depending on it.
