Metal / Re: Food as a Metaphysical Concept
« on: June 03, 2006, 09:31:33 PM »
Have any here given credence to the idea of food being a construct of our most prevalent emotions?

;D "The Power of Lard" by LARD (Jello Biafra & Co)
is perhaps the best thing about food I have ever heard:

You can see it
In the clouds up in the sky

Floats by in clusters
In our water supply

It's all of us, man
In our pores and in our hair

What we conceal
With these corny clothes we wear

Lard is all
Lard is divine
Lard is control
Lard whips and chains our soul

Lard - We carry credit cards
Lard - We live in fear of art

Lard is the -OM-
Lard is revolution
Lard is the tapeworm
In the bottle of cheap tequila
That comes alive at night
And sneaks up
And bites your nipples

Nowadays, most of us need someone
To run our personal life
Someone to see that
The plants are watered,
Someone to make sure the place is clean,
Someone to make sure dinner is waiting.
Someone to call for theatre tickets,
Someone to make up those cheap excuses

What we need is ...
Lard - The answer
Lard - The dancer
Lard - The ointment
Lard - The dream
Absorb it
Inflame it
Respect it
Molest it

The country right now just wants to be soothed, and told it doesn't have to pay or sacrifice or learn
No one is over the bill
When the mountain comes to Muhammed

Lard ...

Lard - We love to eat
Lard - We love to pray
Lard - Mold over mind
Lard - Hooray!

The power of Lard...

Every time I take a crap
It's a cosmic experience

Religion and chemicals
Are the key to the future

Next time we have sex
Just pretend that I'm Ed Meese

The weasels have it down, man
It's a whole new age

Which would you prefer
A computer or a gun
The sharks lived out the dinosaurs, you know

The power of Lard...

Pity is the poor trainer
In the stable when the racehorse farts

Poison oak really is
The aphrodisiac of the gods

When people are asleep
We all must become alarmclocks
Hey, man
Life is my college

It's dental floss of the mind
Who will babysit the babysitters ?

Ever heard about that guy in New York whose dick
Fell of in the bath after he shot it full of coke ?

It's ok to run out of butter in Zambia
Just smear smashed caterpillars on your toast

Waiter, there's a terrorist in my soup
Which came first - Max Headroom or Gerald Ford ?

Are you a man or are you a mouse ?
If you love your fun - Die for it!
Die for it!

The power of Lard...

Who's gonna babysit the babysitters?...

The POWER of Lard ...

Avoid everything

LaVeyan Satanism and the close relations to it seem to be the only that make sense and the only that dont depend on the existance of a god nor the existance of Satan.

Its reasoning for being called satanism is because of its clear opposition to christianity and embodying the romantic views of satan that it does. Christianity was infact created as opposition to Satanism (though it obviously wasn't called that back then) and taught a masochistic abstinence instead of the liberating indulgence of "Satan".
Satanism is a very naturalistic view on the world, holding many of the same beleifs as anus Nihilism. So before you make assumptions, research.

I would say that you know the tree by its fruits.
There is a very interesting article about the La Vey family here :

> In the mid 1980’s Diane and Anton had a bitter divorce. Anton La Vey was sued blind by an embittered wife (Diane Hegarty). She got sick the bitter coots abuses and sued for divorce driving the Church of Satan into bankruptcy.

> [His daughter's] "The Satanic Witch" is nothing but a simple–minded text book on “how to be a whore.”   Zeena also stated that Anton routinely beat and abused those of his female disciples with whom he had sex, forcing them into prostitution as part of his ‘Satanic Counselling’ and collecting there earnings.

> On 29 October 1997 Anton Szandor La Vey (born Howard Stanton Levey) founder and High Priest of the Church of Satan dies. Zeena now thirty three years old publicly stated she was glad he was dead. She stated she had proven herself to be the most competent satanic witch since her father dies because she cursed him seven years earlier to a painful death.

> On 02 February 1998 she and Nikolas wrote; Anton La Vey: Legend and Reality. Far from a loving tribute, it outlines all the lies and deceptions that caused her to hate her father with a blistering passion.

Very romantic indeed.
But maybe this is only christian propaganda, I don't know....

May I point out that the vision and use of whatever term or reference in whatever context is not as much defined by the original or true meaning of that term or reference, if any, but rather by the language that both protagonists understand and communicate with.

It might happen.  ;D
In such case both protagonists are wrong. But I think that the base for sharing personal opinions about something requires a common interest concerning the real existence of the topic they are speaking about...
Unless they are heading towards another goal or/and are drunk.

Motörhead - Orgasmatron

My name is called religion, sadistic, secret, bored.

My name is called religion, sadistic, sacred whore.

Something seeming worth reading:

Aeschylus - Prometheus bound.

But translations may reserve surprises.

1) "Power : Every job is troublesome except to be the commander of gods; no one is free except Zeus."
2) "KRATOS: All things are a burden save to rule over the Gods; for none is free but Zeus."

What ?

I have seen this thread appearing, with some 4 posts of Iconoclast claiming been "trolled" which was awesomely funny, as I came here from a thread about trolling methods .

After hearing of 'Prozak clones' countless times on other forums I've come to the conclusion that everyone on here but myself is Prozak. Hell, thinking about it I'm not sure that even I exist.

... How is that mental sickness called?...
