Interzone / Michael Ruppert commits suicide
« on: April 16, 2014, 06:56:03 AM »
The man has been mentioned on this site and I have personally taken great pleasure in hearing his opinions on different matters. I find it discouring that someone who have fought back against the decline of civilization chooses to take his own life.

Former LAPD narcotics investigator Michael C. Ruppert -- best known as an investigative journalist and peak oil awareness advocate -- is dead. He was just 63 years old.

While details are sketchy, various sources say that he committed suicide. He recorded the final episode of his The Lifeboat Hour radio show Sunday (April 13), after which he took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Vice magazin recently did a short-series about him aswell. You can tell that he was going over the edge.

Interzone / Re: Swedish Cinemas introduce movie SEXISM ratings
« on: November 10, 2013, 01:29:41 PM »
As a swede I've come to hate my own country and country men. The insanity never stops. I don't know if I should try to go against the grain and find like minded people, organize and rebuild the swedish society or if I should use my gardeningeneering degree, move to the countryside, collect guns and watch the whole thing burn to the ground with mass imigration and feminism while screaming THIS IS WHAT YOU WANTED, REJOICE . As a white male at 24 years old, I feel like I am unwanted and looked down upon. I am considered the root of all evil. Sometimes I actually cry a little. Some friends understand my point of view, but they don't seem to grasp the consequences that surely will follow. My divorced parents, allthough intelectualls, doesen't get it either. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN SO FUCKING EASY FOR THEM. They, along with the rest of the 40-50's born generations are the ones who created this fucking mess and they will stack the money, retire and die without EVER suffering the consequences. The people that was born in the 80's, 90's and 00's are all hyped up on technology, facebook and their own personal drama to pay any attention to the demise of the western civilization. The mass imigration will be the end of my countrymen and culture. Feminism and the sexual revolution will be the end of the nuclear family and that will be the nail in the coffin for this once upon a time great and free country. I just don't know what to do. Part of me want's the people to get what they deserve, the other part of me wants to try and fix society so that future generations don't have to go through the same shit. I know that there is beauty out there. But sometimes I don't know if It's worth it. I am sorry for this rambling text, you cant delete it if you want to since it doesen't contribute anthing to the topic. I just needed to vent some frustration on the internet since I cant do it IRL because I will get socialy excluded. My english is shitty so don't bother poiting that out.

The degeneration of society effects all genres. The artists that put in hard work mastering their craft seldom get the attention they deserve.

Metal / Re: Generic bands that have had one quality composition.

Thanks for the tips and the in-depth descriptions.

But I feel the need to clarify what I intended with the thread.
I have lurked the site for the last 3 years and it is my understanding that
Speedmetal, Deathmetal, Blackmetal got overrun by copycats band that diden´t really
invent och improve the music. These band just used some copy/paste riffs from other bands
and barfed out an album.

Question: Is there any nuggets to be found among the C grade bands? If there was an
abundance of bands in these genres some of their SONGS, demos or ep's could by accident, or by design, turn out solid. Then the rest of the album/albums, and their music caréers, just be total shit.
Monkeys writing shakespear etc.

Metal / Generic bands that have had one quality composition.

Could you list some bands that are worthless garbage but have managed to produce one or a few killer tracks.
My gut tells me there should be a couple of generic 80's speedmetal and 90's death metal bands that have had 'some one hit wonders'.

Post: Band/song

If you could motivate why the song draws your attention that would also be nice.

Metal / My Bloody Valentine compilation of unreleased material
« on: April 27, 2012, 04:35:47 AM »
New collection will feature previously unreleased material and will drop in May.

My Bloody Valentine will release a new compilation album called 'EP's 1988-1991' on May 7.
The band will also be re-releasing their two studio albums, 'Isn't Anything' and 'Loveless', on the same day. The compilation record draws together their 4 EP releases, 'Feed Me With Your Kiss', 'You Made Me Realise', 'Glider' and 'Tremolo' alongside seven additional rare and previously un-released tracks.
