The degeneration of society effects all genres. The artists that put in hard work mastering their craft seldom get the attention they deserve.

Thanks for the tips and the in-depth descriptions.

But I feel the need to clarify what I intended with the thread.
I have lurked the site for the last 3 years and it is my understanding that
Speedmetal, Deathmetal, Blackmetal got overrun by copycats band that diden´t really
invent och improve the music. These band just used some copy/paste riffs from other bands
and barfed out an album.

Question: Is there any nuggets to be found among the C grade bands? If there was an
abundance of bands in these genres some of their SONGS, demos or ep's could by accident, or by design, turn out solid. Then the rest of the album/albums, and their music caréers, just be total shit.
Monkeys writing shakespear etc.

Could you list some bands that are worthless garbage but have managed to produce one or a few killer tracks.
My gut tells me there should be a couple of generic 80's speedmetal and 90's death metal bands that have had 'some one hit wonders'.

Post: Band/song

If you could motivate why the song draws your attention that would also be nice.

My Bloody Valentine will release a new compilation album called 'EP's 1988-1991' on May 7.
The band will also be re-releasing their two studio albums, 'Isn't Anything' and 'Loveless', on the same day. The compilation record draws together their 4 EP releases, 'Feed Me With Your Kiss', 'You Made Me Realise', 'Glider' and 'Tremolo' alongside seven additional rare and previously un-released tracks.
