Channeling the Power of Minds into a new God

That sounds like something I'll come up with when intoxicated with lack of sleep / jenkem.

My prediction is he will prove us all wrong and it will be super awesome.

On Advent... I think they lost touch with the melodic composition that made their previous albums great.

For the main topic of this thread, Exodus.

Firstly my unlimited RESPECT,VALUE AND SALUTATION to all and thier personel opinions.

1-WHY WE HAVE NATURAL LUBRICANT FROM THE VAGINA AND NOT FROM ANUS ?

2-ANAL SEX IS CREATED BY MAN AND IT DOES NOT EXIST IN NEITHER ANIMAL KINGDOM NOR PLANTS !

3-WE ARE SURE THAT THE MAN DOES NOT ENJOY THE PLEASURE OF SEX IN ANY OTHER FORM MORE THAN HAVING IT THROUGH VAGINA .

4-CREATIVITY OF POSITIONS AND STYLES WAS ONLY DESIGN TO FEEL MORE SENSATIONAL BETWEEN PARTNERS OF DIFERENT SIZES SO ON AND SO FOR BUT NOT FOR ANAL .

5-SEX IS NOT NEW TO HUMANS NOR RELIGIONS WHERE WE CAN FIND GREAT PEOPLE TOOK THE IMPORTANCE TO EXPLAIN ABOUT SEX,FOR AN EXAMPLE KAMASUTRA .BUT NON;I REPEAT NON OF THEM RECOMENDED ANAL SEX .

6-MORALLY NO OTHER CREATURE WORST THAN US .

I CONCLUDE,WHY SHOULD WE GO FOR AN ALTERNATIVE WHEN WE HAVE THE BEST OF WHAT WE WANT.

A MAN AFTER SERVING SENTENCE IN PRISON IF HE IS GIVEN A CHOICE OF VAGINA OR ANUS OR ORAL OR MACHINE OR ETC ?
ALL OF US KNOW WHAT HE WILL GO FOR.

THAT IS ALL FOR NOW.

I'm a defender of this list

and Belus doesn't touch it even nearly, though it is entertaining.

I find great meaning in many death metal bands, they seem to capture some of the old feral spirit of the world, but I suppose that doesn't necessarilly make it high art.

Me too, and I think these bands best exemplify what you describe, especially the top 10 or so : http://www.anus.com/metal/about/best_of/

Infester is pretty unique, they may have taken some queues from earlier acts, but I am of the opinion that they are innovators in the death metal scene.  What are some bands that you would consider better than Infester?

Listened to some more of them on youtube, they seem like a competent mix of Incantation and Suffocation in style, but I'm still not convinced. Maybe you can submit a review to the DLA/deathmetal.org, put your ass on the line!

While I like your descriptions and agree with them on some level,  you'll need to do a lot more to convince that this song is even better than mediocre, let alone "high art," a term I'd reserve for something like Therion's The Way if we're talking metal (standard example I know, but standard for a reason).

Some of the relations you see/make between ideas seem coincidental, for example, and even if they (the relations) exist, how do they make this song any good compared to what better bands did?

This is not an attack but some issues.

Guess I had no option but to sig this before anyone else does.

THIS is "alternative"? (ignore how cheesy the video is)

I don't know about them being "A" list material, but they're certainly a unique presence in the metal world. I enjoy their Swans/doom metal/grind/noise combination. Definitely a band that is not afraid to innovate. Not surprised they're ignored by most of the metal community; they actually do something different than most bands.

^^^ 7 million % better than Atheist's Jupiter.

Never had the patience for metalcore, but this is actually interesting.

Does anyone have any thoughts on Line 6 POD Studio UX2 or similar USB recording interfaces?

I am looking for an inexpensive way of recording to my laptop (to share with friends, nothing professional or public) without the hassle of using a mike (or even amp, for that matter). This sounds like it could be a decent solution for around $200-300.

Anyone use or have seen this kind of thing in regards to recording extreme metal?

Line 6 works great if you haven't got it already, it's well worth it even if your project turns out to be another turd in the pool.

Blade Runner needs a mention. Repo Man too, which is mostly just plain goofy, but is totally metal in parts (and the admins seem to love it).

* Get rid of most of the shit on deathmetal.org. Not only is the visual design ugly as dog shit, most of the content is way too kind to "undiscovered gems" that are totally mediocre.

Is it that bad? Was kind of enjoying it of late. Got me into Autopsy and Ripping Corpse. Sometimes you have to plough through the shit to get to the gems.

Only gems are real.

Any thoughts on The Abyss (swe), Grotesque and Antaeus???

[...] Antaeus is also good on their first (Cut Your Flesh and Worship Satan). All of them are historically relevant B albums but far from essential listening.

Not to nitpick old data but CYFWS is A+ and most definitely essential and I will defend it to the death. Inner War!

I might be going to this. Any bands to recommend besides the obvious? These would be Demigod, Antaeus, Blaspherian, Divine Eve, Cianide, Birth A.D.
