I don't know, but a darkly romantic style of architechture which looked like evil Gothic cathedrals would be awesome. Fuck what someone on this board rightfully called the "McMansions" popping up all over this nation...I want me an evil "anti-church" to live in.

I want a huge altar with a 20-foot-wide replica of the Altars of Madness cover hanging above it, with spikes jutting out of the arches, torches lighting the room, and a huge inverted cross above with huge amplifiers built right into the ground and sculpted with the general motif of the whole place, and a big dome with the cover to the self titled Deicide painted on it. I want inverted crosses everywhere, black and white stained glass windows which replicate the covers from the first three Darkthrone albums, Live in Leipzig, and Wrath of the Tyrant but let no light in, and tapestries depicting Jesus Christ in various states of rape, humiliation, and dismemberment.

I want the acoustics to replicate that "abandoned evil church" feeling that's so abundant in Seven Churches and De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas...

Castles, i like me a good castle. The front cover of Immortal's "At the heart of Winter" album would also be very cool. Bleak and unforgiving style in the middle of gods nowhere up in the mountains.

Architecture is a subject that has great interest for me.
I was suprised that no one has yet mentioned the work of Albert Speer, Hitler's chief Architect, charged with rebuilding Germany after war in the event of a German Victory.

Whats interesting about the style other than it being influenced by the classical works of the Roman and Greek empires, is that each of his buildings were designed to be equally attractive in ruin as they were when first built. The intention being to ensure that even after a thousand years the monuments of the Reich would still be standing, as a monument to national socialism.
