thanks, etre.

for classical, how about some Wagner? I've been meaning to get into him, but the audiofile for him is still destroyed.

Can you be more specific?  Most of my Wagner is in FLAC format and uploading complete operas is somewhat impractical, not to mention the fact that it's not really recommended to listen to complete operas as the audio isn't a stand alone work of art like with instrumental music.  Perhaps if I just uploaded the Vorspiel and Liebestod from Tristan and Isolde, I think this is as good a place as any to start.  Most well known classical composers are well represented on torrent sites like the Pirate Bay, you can get the complete works of many composers in either lossless or high quality mp3.  Also torrents are much more practical for large downloads, whole Wagner operas in FLAC are over 1gig each so using upload sites is less effective.  You can split them up but that is equally annoying.

Definitely :)

This is a long shot, but I heard it through the grapevine that Electrocution (Italian Death Metal) did a performance on Italian National Radio in the 90s.  If anybody knows of any other idiosyncratic recordings by notable bands from the late 80s/early 90s that is akin to a live studio performance I would also be interested.

Big thanks to Nightspirit. He apparently read my mind, I was just looking for Sigrblot.

However, I have another request. Winglords album Heroica spiked my interest a while back, but I have heard very mixed opinions on the album.
Also, there's hardly anything to find on Youtube, which would make it a risky buy. If anyone could upload this I would be very grateful.

Winglords album Heroica

That's a great request dude. The Inthurrrnet seems to be barren of this. I'm sure one of us can finagle an upload. There's many options, but I will keep you posted comrade.

Right, let's see here...

Johann Sebastian Bach - All that has been uploaded as of yet is on megaupload (I think). In desperate need of an update. For lack of specific works, I would much appreciate if someone would upload the following: St. John Passion (BWV 245), The Art of Fugue (BWV 1080), and St Matthew Passion (BWV 244). All these are stated without having some specific conduction/performance in mind, so I'll just leave it to the good taste of the uploader.

Anton Bruckner - Symphony No. 8 (preferably by the Berlin Philarmonic under Günter Wand, but any good rendition would do just fine)

Autumn Tears - Love Poems For Dying Children... Act I (It would be interesting to hear if anyone has this as I simply cannot find it anywhere. Similar to dead can dance in spirit, some deem it better)

That is all for now.
