Conspiracy theories

most people abandon debating 9/11 when it whittles down to the physics. There is a whole group of architects, physicists, engineers etc. who disagree with the status quo. No one reads about them anymore.

The first time I heard someone claim that 9/11 was an inside job, I shut him up almost immediately.
He was very upset at this, but so was I, at him.
This, I informed him, does not happen in the reality I inhabit.
People do not engineer the deaths of two thousand of their own.
And even if they do, they still don't.
Some places, I just can't, don't, won't go.

I would honestly feel better if the conspiracy theorists were right about everything.  If someone is in control then change is possible, if not then it is likely that we have already crossed the metaphorical event horizon.

If it were as simple as defeating a conspiracy, some G-man would have done it already. Many of the popular movies seem to be about conspiracies and beating them. I won't take any advice from movie-world, because I know already that they are liars.
