I remember I was walking down the street and some Ozzfest going false metalhead stopped me and asked me if my Beherit shirt said Behemoth. Fuck!

I wonder if they'll still get support from Root? (Only reason to ever see the boring-as-hell Behemoth live show).

"Hot chicks in corpse paint"

Good quote, it describes well the situation of both metal and society today.

The Spinal Tap-ish nature of what passes for (mainstream) "Black Metal" today is completely exposed! Black Metal Christmas indeed...oh the shame....

Black Metal X-mas... Certainly the apotheosis of ignorance is what we got here. The complete antithesis of the original ideology that black metal was during its earlier years. Black Metal as a product for the masses just like Ipod or Coke. Now let's put the name of bands such as Behemoth, Cradle Of Filth and Dimmu Borgir as icons for selling more mp3 players, pants, cars, and who knows, maybe even dish washers.

Why listen to Behemoth when Sacrementum did it better?

Sacramentum didn't do "it" better. They did something completely transcendental and well crafted (and it's more BM than "DM" like Behemoth) but indeed, why listen to these jokers? The answer is that they're "hip" and "cool".

In regards to people attempting to belittle me for stating The Apostasy is decent, I actually prefer Satanica and Demigod when it comes to their death metal style albums. Are these albums disgraceful to black metal as well? It appears no one insulted them until they made an album that charted on Billboard 200.

Yes.  Behemoth sold out with "Grom".

I'm a bit perplexed as to why VH1, in all their glory, hasn't made a "behind the band" for these guys.

I was listening to "Demigod" the other day and was surpsried by the 'metalcoreness' of that album .... yuck!!!!
