Sparse information in English about bands, but the pages about Death and Pestilence do have some what descriptive information about the bands in French. The English pages has information about the date and place of formation, a track listening of officially released albums (with length of songs) and the date/label of release.

The wiki started as a french project, and we are currently moving on to the english language so that more people can read, gather and contribute. So please be patient in the meantime! Lots of french pages can still appear here and there, and everything might not be fully set up yet, but it's a big work and we're only a few to handle it (until now)...

The idea is quite simple: gather all information related to metal. Bands, artists, labels, fanzines, etc. Everything that is making the metal underground culture alive.
The wiki was first created as a french-language based project only. But after 3 years of existence, we decided to move it to english language, so that anyone in the world can more easily read and edit the pages.

The wiki has been active, although the only recent changes were done by a "team" member. There are only two of those. I can vaguely recall their being a Hessian wiki, so for the people interested here. The wiki's content is released under the GNU Free Documentation License.

There was a Hessian Wiki, but it ended up seeming superfluous seeing as how the information was almost exclusively a recombination of content from Wikipedia, Metal/Archives and DLA.  Cultural pages could have been added, but then what's hessian.org for?
