Dread Records Suspends Future Releases

Independent and smaller heavy metal labels and suppliers may be beginning to feel the pinch of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. Dread Records, a label devoted to re-issuing underground classics on cassette, has notified its fans and customers that although they will continue to ship in stock items available on their website that all upcoming releases have been suspended including a re-release of Demilich-Nespithe.

According to the label:

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic the pressing company i go through has been shut down.

New Releases that have been paid for are now in limbo until things go back to normal.

This includes DEMILICH – NESPITHE (CASSETTE) and HORNA – HAUDANKYLMYYDEN MAILLA (CASSETTE).

This also stops the assault of killer releases that were planned to be released this year.

Layouts will still be done and be ready to go once things get better.

As long as the post office stays open Dread Records is still up and running so if you are one of the fortunate people that can still afford to buy music your business is much appreciated. Thanks for your patience and your support.
