Iron Bonehead Triggers Witchhunt by Portland Maoists

Article contributed to Death Metal Underground by Seth Berg.

It seems the Portland neoliberals weren’t content with indoctrinating gullible college students into their pseudoscientific belief system and badgering people for triggering them, since anyone who’s anyone has had to contrive some sort of PTSD in the past five years to keep with the trends.

Nope, they had to start a fan club and activist group centered around fellating the legacy of mass murdering Chinese communist dictator Mao Zedong. The Portland Maoists accused mostly funderground label Iron Bonehead Productions and all the bands they distribute of being Nazis. Shroud of the Heretic, Heresiarch, Intolitarian, Nyogthaeblisz, are all Nazis by association of Iron Bonehead stocking an Arghoslent shirt and bands who released records on Satanic Skinhead Productions with Craig Pillard’s Sturmfuhrer. At least someone was proactive and drove a car through the wall of their “workers’ center” / crust squat house.

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this. So do they actually think Mao was a great guy? Or do they just like some of his ideas? Just trying to figure out why a movement like this exists, but I’m guessing it is a small one

    1. fucking muricans says:

And you actually think George Washington was a nice guy? God damn it people?
And you actually think Napolean was a great guy? God damn it people!

Typical “my guy is nicer than your guy OBJECTIVELY”

      hahahaha

      Heil Hitler!

      1. you're gay says:

wow you are a stupid fuck

      2. canadaspaceman says:

Hitler saved many, many, many non-German lives, so yes, he was a VERY nice guy compared to mao, or any anarchist/communist piece of shit.
        – says this Polish dude

      3. Marc Defranco says:

I made no statement about other past world leaders. I just wanted to know if they consider Mao a great leader after looking at what he may have done well or badly, or if they just like some of his ideas

        1. Ranger Werklust says:

Mao could concentrate very well. I’m looking at the map your walls are ugly. He could swim better than other world leaders. His vision was clouded by hatred so I don’t have any respect for him. He didn’t respect pianos and is was a stupid chink in my humble opinion

  2. Rob says:

I know that they’re considered “funderground” but reading this makes me want to give even more support to Iron Conehead Productions. Hopefully they’ll have an Arghoslent tshirt for me at their table for Destroying Texas Fest.

  3. Necronomeconomist says:

Dude, read that facebook post again. The Portland Maoists did NOT accuse all the bands distributed by IB as Nazis. They asserted that some of the bands are fascist. “the label sells a large amount of merchandise from various fascist bands.”

    Bad counter-propaganda, my nigga.

Moreover, what is the point of this “article”? In summary, it says: Some Portlanders have a Maoist group. They said some bands are fascist.

Intolitarian and Nyogthaeblisz seem pretty damn close to being outright Nazis.
What is your point in obfuscating or denying that?
Like, fans of these guys are consuming the borrowed fascist imagery, the runes, the wolfshook, the hatred, the anti-Semitism…but why pull up short when someone calls it NAZI?

    1. aol instant messenger says:

      >Intolitarian and Nyogthaeblisz seem pretty damn close to being outright Nazis.
      >Like, fans of these guys are consuming the borrowed fascist imagery, the runes,

Every neo-nazi I’ve met is a huge Lynyrd Skynyrd fan. That doesn’t make Lynyrd Skynyrd nazis. Don’t be retarded

  4. Necronomeconomist says:

Side note: you’re mis-using “neoliberal”. The Maoists are certainly diametrically opposed to neoliberalism. Here’s what Wiki says: “Neoliberalism refers primarily to the 20th-century resurgence of 19th-century ideas associated with laissez-faire economic liberalism. These include extensive economic liberalization policies such as privatization, fiscal austerity, deregulation, free trade, and reductions in government spending in order to increase the role of the private sector in the economy and society.”
We’re talkin’ free markets and democracy!

You probably meant “the Portland radicals”.

    1. LanguageGames says:

You know what he means. Neo means new, and there is an even newer form of liberalism now, which funnily enough, is not in favour of free expression, and is not for economic liberty.
Just like neo conservatives do not want to conserve nature, and feminists want to invite rape cultures.

  5. Rainer Weikusat says:

This really deserves to be quoted more explicitly:

we listed the venue “High Water Mark” as a known hang out spot for local fascists. […] We listed this venue for two reasons.

    1. We have heard reports of fascists being seen at the venue.
    2. A band with ties to openly fascist labels has played this venue before and is booked for future shows.

The text then proceeds with failing to establish this: The connection is supposed to be that a band scheduled to play at the venue is also scheduled to play a show in another place together with another band which released something on Antichrist Kramer’s defunct SSP in the past. Further, there’s stuff available via the Iron Bonehead web shop the Portland Maoist group really does not like despite the they don’t claim it’s fascist and the first band is currently signed to Iron Bonehead. The post concludes with

when you book bands with apparent ties to fascists, even if it’s unintentional, it is reasonable to assume that individuals with fascist ties will attend.

a brilliant example of circular reasoning (also known as begging the question or petitio principii): We assume the band is facist because it has been in the vicinity of people we also believe to be facists in the past/ will be there in the future, hence, we believe that some of the people who will be attending the show will be fascists.

“Herr, schmeiss Hirn vom Himmel!” (May God drop brains from the sky as it’s obviously wanting down here).

Whatever, Seig Heil. Fuck em all.

Speaking of PTSD, i met some douche claiming he has it from a minor car accident. Of course he’s 24 but amazingly never went to safe space university. Anyone claiming PTSD who hasn’t been to war should be sent off to fight one. Hell i’ve been in the room over from someone being murdered with a hammer, slept like a baby after that. No flashbacks, but holy shit do I remember the corpse smell (she wasn’t found for ten days, cops only came because of the stink).

It got hot with the windows closed & naturally her skin began to slide off & liquify. The bodily fluids/excrement & liquid skin leaked through the matress & into the empty apartment below. THEN it began to get into the one below that one.

The cops wouldn’t let me see the body or crime scene but they *did* drag me in for interrogation since I resembled the guy who was 20 years my senior & the only matching features were being white/long haired & bearded.

    1. Seth says:

As someone who’s lived in Portland for almost a decade, I find it continually amusing that political hipsters’ level of trauma and sensitivity to triggers has a direct relationship to how much support it garners them. There’s been multiple instances where I’ve been screamed at for “triggering” some insecure bluehair and everyone else, smelling their bullshit, just ignores them and changes the topic. Lo and behold, the same self-righteous zealot will be extra-super friendly the next time I see them, almost to the point of fawning for affection, which is in its own right, a bit sickening. Though probably not as sickening as leaky cytoplasm and adipocere pooling on the floor.

After I managed to escape from the navy again, I spent about a year with almost nothing but laying on a bed and going through panic attacks because of events which were long over and didn’t turn out half as bad as they could have[*]. That was before fancy terms like PTSD were invented but it should probably count. Traumatic isn’t the same as (objectively) dangerous

[*] Something particularly nice I just remembered: The frigate had been forced to stay in the Liverpool for longer than had been planned because the weather was too bad sail out the harbour. For the crew, this was obviously nice as there’s not much to do on a moored ship. Everyday, some poor souls would have the mispleasure to be on the watch which meant they had to stay on board, in uniform and sober while standing around in some location doing nothing for hours on end. Everybody else was usually free to go to town around noon and do whatever pleaseth him (usually involving cherchez la femme and copious amounts of booze) provided he returned early enough to be (somewhat) fit for the roll call on the next morning.

I had been on the watch on some day and my last shift for this day ended at midnight. This meant I now had a precious six hours in front of me where I was allowed to sleep before I had to get up to be ready for the next shift at six in the morning. After a rather short time, I was woken up because two of my ‘mates’ who had just returned from town and were evidently very drunk where fumbling around with their sailor’s knives in front of my berth,

      http://www.armeeladen24.de/marine/marinebedarf/bw-matrosenmesser.htm

I tried to argue with them for some time but to no avail. So, I got out of bed again in order to call the NCO on charge to request that someone would rid me of these two armed, drunk imbeciles. This went up to the OvWA who sternly ordered them to go to bed and sober up instead of making a nuisance of themselves. The effect of this was that one of them left but the other just came back and sat down on a chair next to me with the drawn knife in his hand. After watching him for about 15 minutes, I came to conclusion that I couldn’t waste more time on this as the time I could still spend with sleeping was running out quickly. I thought “ok, maybe this guy is going to do something with the knife once I’m asleep or maybe, he won’t, but I can’t help it and I’m tired and have to sleep”. So, I turned my back towards him and slept. When I had to get up again, he was still sitting on the chair, fast asleep and with the drawn knife still in his hand. I had to climb over him to get to my clothes.

I don’t get this, as the impression Iron Bonehead has always given is the same as NWN (who is run by a nip by the way) that they don’t care and will exploit anything extreme as long as it can make them money.
