W Kregu Debow
[demo]

This is a difficult demo to classify. Dark Ambient? Polsk Folk? Atmospheric? I can agree with the term "excellent" though. Pernuwit, one of the non-black metal members of the temple of Fullmoon (home of Graveland, Veles, War, etc.) provides us with a lengthy, nicely packaged, and superior dark-ambient/folk demo. Following simple structures containing sound effects (such as horses galloping, ravens screeching), clean guitars, and exceptionally beautiful sounding keyboards, all laid out in front of the occasional spoken section, the demo works itself in a most magnificent fashion. The full length of the demo (or cassette LP if you wish to call it that) is filled with a sense of pure depression. Besides the occasional folk section, it's truly the ambient side of the music here that rules supreme. Yet rather than simply relying on keyboards (even though they are mind-blowing), Perunwit successfully utilize clean (electrical) guitars to get their point across. It's really difficult (as with all dark-ambient) to pin-point an *exact* sound with this demo, but if you are a fan of doomy, depressive, and even folky atmospheric music, I suggest you track this down. I can't think of any reason why this pair has yet to be signed, besides the basic fear of their extreme political standpoint I suppose.
