No, this is NOT metal, has NOTHING to do with metal, and will probably make a great deal of you jump into a violent rage if you were to hear it. This is *pure*, traditional, FOLK music. Clean vocals, flutes, acoustic guitars....watch Monty Python's "The Holy Grail" and listen to that bastard who's singing the ode to Sir Robin. That's what you'll find here. And what do I think of this particular demo...I THINK IT'S BLOODY FANTASTIC!!!
Seriously, this is romantic, beautiful, and very high quality folk music. As much as some people would beat me if they found out, I enjoy listening to traditional (especially Celtic) folk music. This on the other hand is *very* traditional in it's style...there's nothing celtic sounding, rather it's very medieval. There's even a fucking kazoo added to the mix!!! Vocally, the band have obviously been trained by professionals, and are also very talented. Listen to the title track for example to hear some simply epic sounding clean male singing. There's clapping, hand drums...whistling...everything a person could think of. Lyrics and text are all in French, and the lyrics are very tasteful and well-done. And they've signed to Holy Records even!! Amazing!!! GET THIS!!!!
