ARRGHHHHHHH!!!! I'm sitting here, freshly showered, a half glass of whiskey sitting in front of me, the wind blowing in via the window, and the sounds of Satanic metal heads Abhorer blasting via the speakers. Wonderful indeed. I really appreciate old school death (/black), as I've hopefully made clear in some reviews, and Abhorer are still one of the best at that particular genre, and reached cult status in my books a long time ago. The 7" was brutal, and this CD is really no different.

I'm not sure how Shivadarshana afforded releasing the Abhorer and Impiety albums in digipak format, but they deserve a positive head nod or two, simply for their hard work in the underground. Especially when they most likely knew that a release such as this would never sell 10 000 copies. Listen to "Z.S.U" to hear the way extreme metal was meant to be. Before wimpy synth drenched pacifist black metal bands appeared. Before stupidity entered the scene. Before anything clean and polished was accepted. Abhorer were there, destroying eardrums world-wide!

Imagine ultra brutal drumming filled with blast beats and double bass. Dream of thick and sick sounding riffs quickly flowing over the violent drum sound. Top that off with thick and heterosexual sounding vocals, that scream and wail their way through song after song. Purchase "Zygotical Sabbatory Unabapt" and your dreams will be answered. It's a shame a band as worthy as this every decided to call it quits.
