Ad Inferos
Bloodlust (Devil's Dance)
[Demonion]
Adding some Voidvodish flavor to a framework of Emperorish black metal, Ad
Inferos offers up a very cool title track sounding both barbaric and
futuristic at the same time. Then, oddly enough, they move into a different
style for the rest of the tracks. The second track is a meandering folk
metal tune not too far from Aeternus' more folky moments. Tracks 3-5 are
doomy metal with clean and rough vocals. The songs are quite reminiscent of
Decoryah's first album (dreary yet gothicy doom). The music is OK I guess,
and it is fairly cool that a band might not stick to one specific genre, but
this just sounds like a mix tape a buddy made for you. Ah, just found a
note in the j-card - the doomy songs are re-releases from an old demo . .
should've left them there.
