Integrity
Seasons in the Size of Days
[Victory]
More metallic hardcore from Integrity. The band continues to perfect its
formula while adding a few subtle elements in the process, as on "Millennial
Reign" or on piano-driven "Heaven Inside You're Hell." The guitar riffs
remain more metal than ever, and are set to simply structured, yet very
convincing, songs. These songs may have hardcore's shortness, but metal's
attitude really shines through them.
As with Integrity's previous record, "Seasons in the Size of Days" is
concluded with Dwid's noise experimentations. This time it's the 25 minute
"Burning Flesh Children of the Mist," which consists of the sample from the
final sermon of the Peoples Temple (remember that Jim Jones guy?) accompanied
by tribal noise-electronics.
Integrity continue their apocalyptic explorations stronger than ever.
