D.I.V.
Russian Frost
[K.T.R./Soyuz]

D.I.V. are one of Korrozia Metalla's cohorts whose records are released on KM leader Spider's K.T.R. label. Their blend of death and thrash metal is pretty good for what it is. "Russian Frost" includes "Rap Monkey" - a song that disses rap music (kill rap music!!!), but the highlights of the album are a ballad called "Right to Die" and the closing song "Mad Dog (Bark 'n Bite)." One more thing worth mentioning is the vocals. On one half of the songs they are normal screams and roars. On the other half, besides screams, the singer uses lots of recitatives (on "Mad Dog" he even does some narration), which actually turn out to be a positive thing. "Russian Frost" may not be a spectacular album, but it's far from dull and certainly better than any of the Korrozia Metalla albums I heard.
