Siebenburgen
Grimjaur
[Napalm]
Ahhh... a vampyric female on the cover, you know this has gotta be good.
Sarcasm aside, it is actually a good CD that is if you like melodic folky
fast paced black metal. I'm not a big fan of the Swedish scene with it's
heavy emphasis on melody but the folkiness of Siebenburgen's music strikes
a chord with me. I threw this CD on while I was loading up a porn site
(Jessica's Juice Box) and due to the incredible slowness of the site I was
able to listen to the entire CD and write this review. One could easily
find oneself enjoying this CD cause it is well played and there are plenty
of cool harmonies that can hold one's attention much like Jessica's fine
breasts (38DD I might add). The bass player in this band looks like he's
wearing shoulder pads - lose 'em dude and spare yourself some grief. Jessica
it seems is of the silicone breast variety, still they are fine. Lyrics are
in Swedish and there are female vocals as well (limited to 2 songs and
surprisingly not annoying). One last thing my mentioning of the folk aspect
in Siebenburgen's music might deceive a few of you out there so I will
clarify that point. The music is folky in a sense of rhythms and harmonies
not necessarily in respect to usage of traditional instruments in the
creation of the sound. Hopefully that helps and gives you the necessary
information about this disc, now may your day bring great joy and
prosperity Y'all.
