I may have heard this when it was released in 1992. Reminds me of ENTOMBED, maybe due to the fact it was recorded at Sunlight Studio, Stockholm and also produced by Tomas Skogsberg, who did "Left Hand Path". While I rarely listen to ENTOMBED (and I'll never buy their newer abortions they call death-rock, leave the rockin to Cathedral) this CEMETARY CD fulfills some death metal desires in me. Great musicianship. Tight playing, gruff, growling vocals, and a tough, menacing guitar sound. This 8 song, 36 minute CD was worth adding to my collection, although I bought it used. At an import price, I would hesitate and buy all the CARCASS CDs first.
