This was a 12"single with a song that killed everything on their Long Live The Loud album. Produced by Guy Bidmead, who also did the 4 "new" Motorhead tracks on No Remorse, I think. Excellent headbanging metal, with a taste of what Exciter are like on the B-side. Recorded in Ottawa both tracks are clear. "Violence & Force" is pretty good, but "Pounding Metal" suffers from the thin sound. Trust me, when Pounding Metal was played live, EVERYONE was headbangin and fistbangin. Everyone was singing the chorus. Too bad that couldn't have been captured here. You can also find a Music For Nations compilation double album with the track "Feel the Knife" by the way (although most of the other bands suck). Ahhh, if it was 1985 again....
