Panzerfaust is the fifth album made by Darkthrone. And, I should add, a fourth master piece. Like usual, it is underproduced, a bit like "Transilvanian Hunger", but in a "better" way. This album somewhat mixes the slow rhythms of songs like "The Dance of Eternal Shadows" on Under a Funeral Moon, and the blood freezing melodies of Transilvanian Hunger, so this album is more melodic and less monotonous than the precedent album. Again, the vocals are totally great, and more tortured this time, even if, sometimes, they sound a bit strange.

Conclusion:
This is a Darkthrone release, it is great BLACK METAL, as ugly and primitive than TH, and mesmerizing at the same time. To describe it quickly, I'll say like Kulde said on his HELVETE website (r.i.p) : "Ugliness can be beautiful".
