Abigail
Descending from a Blackened Sky
[Of God's Disgrace]

Of God's Disgrace also released the third (and obviously most professional) pressing of "The Conqueror Manifesto", so there's no doubt in my mind that they deserve to be supported. "Descending from a Blackened Sky" sees Abigail somewhat "cleaning up their act" before they became the tight machine gun trio as displayed on their CD.

They still retain a small amount of their messy and much less controlled style that ranks up sound-wise with other early blackgrindevil bands, but you can see what is about to happen. The sound is much more heavy-thrash in style (although it's not hyper fast here like on the CD). Adding to that, the vocals are far from the insane levels they reached on the full length, while the sheer brutality doesn't compare to the demos. For those interested in hearing what Abigail were in between the demos and LP, I guess.
